Great base in PDC
Great set up, comfy basic apartment, very clean. Half board good option, food well presented and good quality. Great base in puerto del carmen. All staff welcoming and friendly

Would recommend
Great hotel, good food, good entertainment, and pool area is excellent, but the best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are a credit to the establishment. Location is a bit up the hill but taxi is 3 euros back up.

Generally a nice holiday. The air-con didn’t cool the apartment down though. Food was great but repetitive, often not enough staff on to take drinks orders and clear tables. But other than that we’d probable go back and would recommend as it was cheap.

Perfect week. Friendly & helpful staff. Close to airport. Beach nearby. Hotel itself was lovely and restaurant and bar was good. Pool bar and food was good. Out of season so don’t know how busy it would be in the summer but an April visit suited us. We were a party of 4 adults. Lots of places closed but that didn’t bother us

Winter sunshine week
Attractive apartment hotel complex within walking distance of the port, old town and seafront bars and restaurants. Buffet breakfast was fine. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms cleaned six days a week. Well appointed, kettle, all kitchenware, microwave, tv. Good walk-in shower. Quiet. Good value for money. Reception 24 hours. Overall, a good experience.

Fabulous stay in a great hotel
Excellent choice for Puerto Del Carmen - property is quiet and away from the main strip but only a 20 minute walk away ( 35 minutes on the way back as up hill ) The staff are all helpful. We were on a half board basis - good choice of courses with a chef to cook as required.

Excellent resort and location…. 2 minute walk from old town, supermarkets and bars. Staff were very helpful and approachable. Buffett dinner was delicious- we ended up cancelling our dinner reservations in local restaurants. We will be definitely back for sure.

Excellent apartment, clean and comfortable. On site facilities, pool, sun bathing areas are clean and maintained to a high standard. Bar, restaurant and pool bar are modern, and offer a wide selection of food and drinks at good prices. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Tables and chairs are cleaned thoroughly after each use to maximise customer safety, although Covid19 is now less of an issue. The complex is short walk to the centre of the old town and newer breach-front strip. Looking forward to returning before too long.

If you are looking for that perfect break then you are probably looking at the right hotel. Safe, clean, quiet, easy to access, and plenty of good food. Room service was very good and the pool along with the pool area was very clean. Enough sunbeds to go around even for UK style booking of sunbeds with towels.

Super hotel in Puerto del Carmen
Lovely large apartment with kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. Very clean. Staff all really friendly and approachable. The breakfast was superb with a huge variety of food to suit all tastes: cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, etc and lovely bread and cakes. A great start to the day. It is a short walk down hill to lots of bars and restaurants and a great location for exploring the island. Would definitely recommend!

Rooms were clean and spacious and our request for a top floor room with spacious balcony was met without fuss. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and well presented. Biggest asset to Gloria Izaro are the staff that do a wonderful job from check in to departure as do everyone in between. The complex is beautiful with no shortage of sunbeds or sun loungers with activities provided daily if you care to take part.

Had a fantastic stay in a 2 bedroom apartment. Very clean, everything we needed. Pool was lovely - nice touch with tiny kids pool too. Pool bar had loads for lunch plus a happy hour. Breakfast was delicious - far too much to choose from! Everything from a fry up, omelette station, breads and pastries, meats and cheese, yoghurts and cereal and more! Always plenty there too. Tried the bar one evening which was very relaxed and reasonable. Only a 5-10 walk to old town harbour and a taxi rank just 2 minutes away. Highly recommend.

This hotel was up a hill a good km away from the main resort promenande but that was ok for us as we had a car. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel was kept well maintained despite a sandstorm that made a terrible mess. Staff were quick to clean the place up once it was past. The food in the restaurant was extremely varied, well presented and on the whole very good. The chefs were more than obliging to cook for you at breakfast and dinner, always done with a smile. Although poolside was very busy during the day it was very quiet at night. We will definitely return.

The staff were so friendly. The apartment was spacious comfortable and well equipped. The adults sunbathing area had the most comfortable sun beds ever! The location was good for us, a short walk to all the bars and restaurants but in a quiet area so no noise. Loved the Prosecco and bloody Mary’s for breakfast! Coffee machines on in the restaurant for after dinner would be a nice addition.

Excellent place stay
The Gloria Izaro is a excellent place to stay and the staff all around are absolutely fantastic and friendly - they will do everything to make sure you have a great holiday. Any problems are sorted out immediately by reception. We are return visitors and will be coming back here many more times. The reception staff make you feel like your are coming back home.
