I took this property because of all the amenities. Lounge, restaurant, spa, indoor pool, all closed. Website does not mention this important fact.

Google maps took us to the back entrance- it looked abandoned- need more lights and signs. Inside was fine- I will say the beds, pillows and linens were amazing! Most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel! You just need to do something about the outside lighting.

This place charges a premium price, with no premiums included. The only thing at this facility are banquet rooms and hotel rooms. They have spent more on decor and protecting and guarding the decor than they have on the grounds themselves. I could get the exact same services at a motel 6. Extremely basic, just a place to put your head.

Every bed sheet had a stain on it, the floor had lots of visible dirt (I wore shoes in my room the whole time), every surface had goo of some sort so I couldn't set anything down. The bathroom fan was hanging out of the drywall of the ceiling. Once my husband showered, it released the smell of smoke throughout the room and we immediately checked out. The shower tub did not drain and filled up all the way. The front desk had a note saying that every amenity was disabled (spa, gym, restaurants, and no cable TV in the rooms). Heating was on in portions of the hotel, but not all areas, some were ICE cold. I would advise this hotel be shut down.

The room was very dirty. The furniture we put towels on the chairs to sit on them as they were all stained with who knows what. The chain lock on the door was broken. The curtains did not close. The shower and shower curtain were filthy along with the bathroom sink and the floors were dirty. The remote to the TV did not work even with new batteries. The lobby area was clean and looked very nice. The rooms need a LOT of attention. They should start on one floor and go thru and clean and update. I understand it might be hard to get people who actually want to work BUT.....Otherwise the manager was very nice and helpful.

This experience has taught me to always read the reviews before booking! I could basically say "ditto" to everything I read. There are maybe 20 parking spots close-ish to the front entrance. We meed handicapped parking and ended up at the back of the property near the conference center. But you can't access that area in the morning when you need to checkout. The room had stains on the floor and the bathroom was not very clean.the air conditioner did not work. There was a sign on the back entrance that said "beware of dogs"!

NO- NEVER-AGAIN. This place should be closed, It's nothing more than a low income housing project dog motel. The smell and stains of dog feces is all over the hotel. Most of the hotel is dark if you park in the assigned hotel lot you have to literally walk around the building to get into the hotel because only one door works. There was no housekeeping available. It took an hour and 20 minutes just to get clean towels and it took over an hour to check in when there was only two people in front of me. The air conditioner did not work The coffee machine was disgusting. Horrible experience.

Sink drain stuck closed! Water remained in sink. Refrigerator door open when we arrived and freezer frosted badly. Fruit flies/fleas in room. Blood stained bed sheets! Staple on carpeting next to bed.

There was no place to eat food, rooms smelled, a lot of people complained of rooms not being clean, toilet not working, did not shower there did not look clean, no paper towels, only towels but who knows how clean they are, you only get 1 toilet paper and have to go to the front desk to ask for more, TV doesn’t work, if your staying for 1 or 2 nights it’s okay to have a roof over your head but not for a vacation spot.

family nightmare
the main picture is the only good thing about this hotel. our group of people left after 1 of us finding a bed bug on the 5th floor. they only have 1 working elevator. you can park across the street if needed because only one main door works. no pool or spa currently. just horrible experience

No on-site restaurant Ice machine and vending machine not working on 5th floor, asked the front desk person they didn’t care and told me to go to the other floors to see if they work Parking was horrible had to park in the back of the hotel in a lot that had little light and had not been taken care of in quite some time. No handicap spots for parking within a short distance from the entrance, the only spots they had were in the back but the door was locked most of the time and the key card did not open them. Cars were parked in the fire lane and the 10 minute registration parking all night ( same cars). Saw housekeeping once (first day of stay)the room next to us had a bag of garbage outside of the room for 2 days that was never picked up by day 3 Refrigerator/freezer was iced up so bad that you could not use it My room was ok for a hotel , bed was comfortable

This property was not at all what it appeared from the photos. At one time, this was probably a great hotel. It is not that any longer. We did not feel very safe. The parking area was sketchy at best. The back doors weren't secured and the area you walked into was very dark and one did not feel safe. The room reeked of cigarette smoke as did the linens. When I checked in, the receptionist was pleasant and did her job. Interestingly enough, I prepaid for my night here and it was $125. When I was shown the bill, it was only $95 so I'm not sure where the extra $30 went.... While this place is close to MSU, I would not recommend staying here.
