"Beautifully and uniquely decorated property with an amazing fresh and varied breakfast worth every penny. Airport shuttle was efficient and comfortable but only runs every 40 minutes so some prior planning required. Front desk experience was mixed... some staff at check in were very helpful with information. We gained more information to listening to the receptionist next to us than the one dealing with us who seemed quite detached. Had to go down to reception to arrange for a wake up call because no one was answering the phone! Staff in the restaurants were outstanding."

"Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft entspricht im Großen und Ganzen der Beschreibung. Leider fehlte auf unserem Boot der Sonnenschirm und es wurde uns auch kein neuer gebracht, obwohl es bekannt war. Die Klimaanlage ist nur in den Schlafzimmern, was für mich kein Problem war. Durch die großen Türen und die Fenster, welche (zumindest bei unserem Boot) sämtlichest mit Fliegegittern versehen sind, konnten wir schön Durchzug machen. Vor Ort ist nicht viel, aber man ist echt schnell z.B. in Amsterdam. Am ersten Abend haben wir die Flugzeuge recht laut empfunden, haben uns dann aber schnell daran gewöhnt. Geräusche hat man ja sowieso mehr als an Land. Wir waren drei Personen und hatten ausreichend Platz. Eine kostenlose Badestelle gibt es am gegenüberliegenden Ufer und es ist auch nicht weit zum Meer.Die Kaution war noch am Abreisetag zurück auf meinem Konto. Beim Boot gegenüber konnten wir der obligatorischen Endreinigung zusehen. Die war recht gründlich. Schade dass das außen nicht so lange hält, da die Spinnen binnen kurzer Zeit alles wieder übernehmen. Ich würde mich wieder für diese Unterkunft entscheiden."

"This place was a perfect decompress from a week in Amsterdam. It's a bit of a walk into Aalsmeer so if you don't have a car I highly recommend renting a bike in town. The shop there is great and it's an easy ride to the Amsterdam Forest and there's a lovely route around the lake as well. It's not really a "houseboat", more like a house on the water as it is a permanent house not a "boat". It's quiet and the view is lovely. The back deck is a wonderful place to hang out. There were a few issues while we were there and Erika was prompt in responding. The longer we were there (we were there for a week) the more wear and tear we started to notice but it didn't really affect our stay. The sauna and jacuzzi tub were awesome. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed but some of the cookware needs to be replaced as it's pretty obvious someone who didn't know how to use an induction cooktop used some of the pieces and they are no longer useable. It took us a bit to figure out the oven even with the manual, but we did. If you like birds, there are plenty. We weren't there for two hours before there was a duck quacking at us from the deck. She prefers oatmeal to peas, btw. All in all it is a good place to stay and we would stay there again."

"Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt auf dem Hausboot sehr gut gefallen.Zwei kleine Kritikpunkte:- Man sollte zumindestens bei An- und Abreise möglichst dicht an das Hausboot heranfahren können. - Der Innenbereich des Hausbootes ist super gepflegt, der Außenbereich leider nicht so. Um den Tisch auf der Terrasse nutzen zu können, mussten wir erstmal die Spinnweben entfernen.Das sind aber insgesamt nur Kleinigkeiten, die dem schönen Aufenthalt keinen Abbruch Taten."
