"Loved city centre location and the building is a beautiful landmark. Had a fabulous stay would return again, slept well very quiet during night giving the location , clean room lovely view over city. Breakfast unfortunately I did not have as was visiting family on very short break , nxt time will have & Parking was safe & easy on the doorstep , late arrival & was assisted with luggage straight to my door , excellent service from staff all pleasant & chatty."

"If you need a room with a shower make sure you phone before going. I asked for one as i'm disabled and they gave me one with a bath and said they only have 2 rooms with a shower. Which is stupid. But apart from that, lovely hotel. "

"So when we checked in it was not the usual friendliness that we had received before It was very negative we did not have a room on the ground floor and we were told that we would have to upgrade yet again but this time £25 when I was told previously that it would be cheaper to upgrade at the hotel The first room was on the 3rd floor but had more steps so my husband really struggled and felt really poorly as he is not a well man We have been many times to this hotel and thought that they would have known this The first receptionist moved us to the room next door where there were no steps, but because we had a bad experience I requested to see the room first which did not go down well Whilst I was doing that no one went to see if my husband was ok !!! I was not very happy at all When I saw the 2 nd receptionist and explained all he gave me was a lecture about booking direct with the hotel and then they could possibly do something about it I was annoyed to say the least and stated that there were plenty of other places we could stay if they couldn't accommodate our needs and all he said was , " yeah you already said that" and was not even bothered cause he stated that a lot of people stay there We definitely need to really think of we are going to go back there as it is disgraceful "

"The staff were very freindly and happy to help. The hotel has a nice, comfortable ambiance. It is very dog friendly- even providing a sausage for the dog at breakfast."

"I loved my stay at the Norton Grange from start to finish. Every member of staff was so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. My Privilege Room was lovely, spotlessly clean and with pristine bed linen and towels. I loved the little touches like the Nespresso machine, stocked minibar fridge and a really nice selection of teas and coffee with biscuits! There was also a gorgeous bathrobe and slippers. The bathroom was beautiful, again spotlessly clean and with thoughtful high-quality amenities and toiletries along with lovely huge bath towels. I ate dinner in the restaurant and my meal was delicious, freshly cooked and served very quickly, again by absolutely delightful staff. Breakfast was absolutely stunning with the most amazing selection of delicious food including the best locally produced sausages I have ever tasted. After breakfast I used the spa. It was wonderful. I used the thermal pools and the aroma steam room and I loved them. The pools were amazing, especially the one that is open to the outside where you can look out over the grass and trees and watch the squirrels playing. Everything was just lovely and the cherry on the cake was seeing a beautiful deer in the meadow next to the hotel as I went out to my car to set off home. Absolutely wonderful and I can’t wait to visit again in a few weeks. Thank you to everyone who made it such a lovely experience."
