"The kitchen was well equipped with spices and most kitchenware. The furniture and bedding was nice. There was excellent communication and the setting was lovely. The location worked for us. If we had been there in warmer weather, we would have enjoyed more of the amenities. The only negative was that the upstairs with the second bathroom and third bedroom (which we ended up not needing) was not heated. The listing says "upstairs" but doesn't make it clear that it's a separate area from the rest of the house, not on the central heat and air. It wasn't a problem for us, but anyone counting on using that room should be aware. They provide a space heater and window AC, but we didn't test them out. "

"We brought our family of 15. We had ample sleeping space and a comfortable hang out space. The beach and dock, for fishing, provided our grandchildren and adult children with hours of play.We even did a polar plunge! We are hoping we can do this again next year!"

"As soon as we walked it several roaches crawled across our floor. Went to front desk and nobody answered. The furniture was also broken and damaged. And the shower was horrible. Hotel looks nothing like the photos. WILL NOT BE BOOKING AGAIN!!"

"Wow, is the best word to explain it all. We got married the evening of our stay and Lisa was more than accommodating to all of my request. The wedding gift left on the counter for us was over the top, never would have expected to receive something so thoughtful by a total stranger. The house was well equipped with everything needed to include something as simple as hand soap in the bathrooms which is never provided. Definitely 10/10 for the host, the house, the amenities and the entertainment. Can't wait to go back!!! "
