"La maison est très bien située pour les visites de plusieurs châteaux (Chambord, Cheverny et Blois par exemple). Elle est proche de la jolie ville de Dhuizon (moins de 10mn à pied du centre ville) qui propose une super épicerie avec des produits locaux de qualité et un super restaurant pour manger "Comme à la maison". "This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. "The property met our needs, but there were some things that could have been better. On the upside, because we had young children along, the pool was a bonus. The donkeys, goats, chickens, and roosters were enchanting. On the downside, if someone wants to be close to the surrounding cities (Tours/Amboise) with pubs and restaurants, this is not the place. "We stayed at the lovely cottage with our 3 year old son, who had a great time on the little farm, investigating the sheep and chickens, and trying to fish in the dams. The cottage is within about one hour's drive of Chateau Chenonceau and Amboise, and very close to Chateau Cheverny and Chambord. The owners are very helpful and attentive, without being intrusive. Highly recommended!"

"the location is stunning the host is very nice and responsive but unfortunately the property has not been cleaned prior to our arival it was dusty, sticky and the toiled smelled of wee. We where very disappointed. We do travel a lot as a family and I have seen a number of properties. This one needs a deep clean . It has been advertised for a family but the indoor dining table is way to small like the water cooker for a family of 5 (and my kids are still small). I would have loved to rate it...
