There was mold in bathroom and on shower curtain...cleaning needs to be better...under couch and beds was filthy...old food, trash and empty beer bottle...a shame really since the unit is very cute. Despite the no pet clause our neighbor had a dog that crapped Right in front if our door

I attempted to contact the property management prior to our arrival and received no response. I did not hear from them until the day of check in and received the check in details. We arrived late that evening and ready for bed. Upon arrival, the unit was upstairs and there are old containers filled with cigarettes outside of our door. The unit was a nice size but it was dirty and not maintained. There were gnats in the drain of the large bedroom bathroom. Both of the bathrooms had build up in the tub, floors and toilet. The refrigerator was dirty. The couch was old and smelled. There were water stains on a bedroom ceiling. It’s a very noisy location, especially late at night. The units need maintenance and thorough cleaning.

Perfect for us
We booked this during evacuation for hurricane. There was slight trouble initially getting into condo the first night due to so miscommunication. But the property manager came and got it cleared up. The property is close to a bus station but we had no issue. The owner was very very accommodating, even offering us a “long term rate” due to our situation which we very much appreciated during these trying times. This was like home away from home.

The space was great! We had a private chef come in on Valentine’s Day here and loved the experience. Everything was clean, comfortable and spacious. I will definitely be booking this again!

Very cute condo
The condo was very clean and very nicely decorated. It also fit my family of eight very nicely. You could hear the train at times but we got use to it quickly. My kids loved the visiting cats in the yard as well. We would definitely consider using this property again when we come back into town.

Needed to check out a day early, emailed Chase, never heard back. Waiting on a refund. also You won’t sleep here due to trains running every 3 hours. Lastly, it didn’t have ESpN to watch bowl games. I travel a lot and have never stayed somewhere that didn’t have sports channel

This is my second time staying here. There were a few issues,like my door code not working. But a quick call remedied that. They came, checked and fixed the issue. The cable went out and Ms. Charlotte came right away to assist me. Although, there were a few issues, the staff worked quickly in fixing it. I will definitely put this place as my 1st option when coming in town.

This property is in a rather seedy neighborhood, next to the bus station and some railroad tracks. There were a few homeless people hanging around the station, though a police car was usually present in the area. The yard around the property could use some cleanup. The condo itself was very nice with large living spaces and nice furnishings. The tv didn’t work. We called the property manager and a very nice woman came promptly and got it going. The next day the tv didn’t work again, so the woman came and got it going again. The smaller bedroom had only a bottom sheet and a bedspread. Would have been nice to have a top sheet and blanket as well. The shower curtain in the first bathroom had some mold on the inside and needs to be cleaned or replaced. The condo has little sound insulation, so we could clearly hear traffic noise, trains going through a few times a day, and we could even hear the conversations of people walking by. The biggest problem was when people moved in below us at 11:30 pm on our last night there and their kids ran up and down their hallway, yelling and laughing until about 2:30 am, even though we knocked on the floor, etc. If was a very unique place, but I’d never stay there again.

Choo Choo Lofts was a very nice, clean place on the inside. It is in a pretty seedy neighborhood though. It is very need the bus station and there were several homeless people in the area. There was a police car parked next to the station most of the time, which made us feel s little more secure. A train went by a few times, day and night and the lifts have little sound insulation, so you really hear it. In fact, you can hear traffic noise and even people talking on the street pretty clearly. The furnishings were very nice but we had a lot of trouble getting the tv to work. We called the management company and a very nice lady named Charlotte came promptly and got it going. However, the next day it went out again. Charlotte came back and got it going again. The bed in the small bedroom had no top sheet or blanket, which would have been appreciated. The shower curtain in the first bathroom had some mold on it and needs to be cleaned or replaced. The biggest problem was on our last night there when people moved in downstairs at 11:30 pm and their kids pounded through the apartment until 2:30 am, despite our knocking on the floor, etc. As I said, no sound insulation, so it was very annoying to hear them running and yelling. I would never stay here again for those reasons!

No space better in Lafayette!
Great space, we loved our stay. Conveniently located near everything downtown. Our dogs loved the courtyard. Very safe and so comfortable! We would stay again, any time! Thank you for a remarkable stay!

I booked a 3 bed 2 bath loft and it was amazing! The location is right behind the bus station so all events happening downtown are a matter of blocks away. We used the apartment to get my sister and her bridesmaids ready for her wedding. There was plenty of space and parking for everyone! I plan on using Choo Choo in the near future and suggest this location to anyone visiting the downtown area.

Loved the Choo Choo Lofts
If you are not allergic or afraid of cats, I highly recommend the Choo Choo Lofts for nice quiet get a way, it’s definitely home away from home. It was clean, spacious and well equipped with the necessities for their guest. However, I would recommend instructions as to how to get in the once you’ve punched the door code in. We was able to go back to the email to get an after hours person that walked through it over the phone but we panic when code didn’t work for us. Amber was great accommodating our family. Thank you again.

Extremely nice accommodations. Being that we got there after dark, the area was a little scary. Loved the yard cats. Loved the beautiful crown molding throughout the loft. The beds was super comfortable. I would have liked tv’s in the bedrooms and instructions on how to lock the front door. Also make sure you list on the amenities that there is a hair dryer.

Great spot close to downtown!
Great location! Very comfortable...the couch is ridiculously huge! We grilled one night and ate at the rental...had everything we needed. Caught some great funk music downtown which is literally a block away! We will definitely be back!

Downtown Loft with A Train View
It was very nice with lots of room and very nice furnishings. The rooms even had walk in closets! It was also I'm within very easy walking range of many down town attractions including the Downtown Alive event, and several museums and eateries. The grill needed repair and it is right next to the train station so keep this in mind. The trains come through throughout the night but my little one loved watching the trains. Also we weren't told our reservation was upstairs until the check in email. This could be a problem for some.
