Clean and well maintained with good beds

I arrived on a 5am flight from Miami and the hotel let me crash on their sofa until a room was available. This was several hours before the official check in time. The hotel entrance doesn't look particularly appealing if you arrive at an unusual hour. The hotel is on the 5th and 12th floor of a modern tower block. A security guard will let you in and you take a lift to the 5th floor reception. There are shops and a cinema in the ground floor + several ATMs. The area immediately around the hotel isn't that appealing but it is safe. If you want the nicer restaurants I recommend the Sopocachi neighbourhood. The hotel is also some distance from tourist hub around Plaza Mayor. This may not be important if you are in La Paz on business.

Quirky hotel like a W!

Posted 29-Apr-2016
Pros: Great views of the city
Cons: The elevators!
Location: In the heart of the business district. Close to good restaurants.
We spent three nights at the Stannum and enjoyed our stay. Staff were incredibly helpful. Only one elevator for the hotel which is a bit of a nuisance. Restaurant was good but not a great variety for dinner. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Nice hotel but the whole room vibrated (tremors)

Posted 19-Apr-2016 on Hotels
The hotel is very nice located and the facilities are very good as well as the service. The room was very nice and clean but extremely noisy and the whole room vibrated as if a tremor was occurring every certain amount of time, which is particularly annoying and does not allow for a good rest. Also there were loud noises coming from the plumbing pipes periodically.

A OK

The hotel is clean and well maintained, it is not a chain hotel but certainly one of the better ones I saw. It was good for the 2 nights I spent there
