We had the most wonderful stay at Aquamarina. The house is beautiful and very comfortable and it is a pleasure to rest there. Is it also a perfect base to explore La Paz. Finally the staff is very helpful and friendly. Kudos!
Simple, Very clean and safe little hotel. The woman at the reception was very nice, as the gentleman in the morning. Was happy to stay there and contribute . Recommend . I go everywhere hostel , 5 stars or lovely place like they were
Nice little botique hotel about eight blocks from the malecon. Safe, lo ked up well at night. Restaurant with bar attached. Oxxo one block away & a very good restaurant El Maguey one block away. Stayed in the signate room, clean good a/c , safe. Thought it odd it did not have a tv. Uber easy to get, good wifi.Would rare three stars.
Such a cute spot! We booked at 6 pm and arrived around 7, the front desk was very welcoming (and brought me a complimentary glass of wine). The room and bed were very comfortable and uniquely decorated. The attached coffee shop was great for the morning. Would definitely stay again.
Off the beaten track, six blocks from the malecon so quiet. But no refrigerators in the room and no room to put anything in the restaurant refrigerator, no microwave, no cable, and check in was traumatic!
We liked the common areas of this property, and it felt like a retreat, sitting on the shaded patio looking at the pool. Beautifully decorated with nautical items. Very artistically done. Our room was too small to even place one suitcase. They need to remove some decorations to make it more practical to place simple travel gear. They also need to add a reading light. We appreciated being able to leave our bags with reception for several hours.
The room they gave it is not as shown in the pictures. The room needs paint, it does not have a TV. Wifi is not working and they said it is a problem not related to them but wifi works in the reception. Very expensive for the poor hotel, I am glad I am here only one night. I would not recommend staying here.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
The property was okay, the rooms okay. The price too high. Walking at night to restaurants felt uncomfortable. When I have asked other hotels if it is okay if I check out later (due to the extreme heat) they (when able) have accommodated me. I was charged for this at this hotel. Also most disturbing was that a man who does maintenance at the hotel, somehow knew my birth year? He was very chatty and approached me to tell me my birth year. Something is wrong with privacy issues.
Took a chance on this new hotel, and it was terrible. Check in was a pain and took about 30 minutes --- booked through a third party app, and they didn't have my reservation info. That evening, I realized that the bed linens were filthy and unwashed. The comforter had a fresh blood stain on it, and the sheets had sand and dirt in them. Clearly, housekeeping had just remade the bed with unwashed linens from the prior guest -- absolutely disgusting. No hotel employees working at 6 pm to help me, so I needed to have the restaurant employee call someone for help. Took another 30 minutes for someone to arrive. Their "solution" was to change me to a downgraded room with double bed, even though I paid for a larger room with queen bed. No offer of a refund or anything for the downgrade and inconvenience. Second set of linens were presumably clean, but reeked of mildew. Also, the wifi here is incredibly spotty, so good luck working remotely. Plenty of nice hotels in La Paz. This is not one of them. Stay away.
