"Das Haus war okay. Die Zufahrtsstrassen waren allerdings eine Katastrophe (holperig). Die Lage war allerdings ziemlich abgelegen. Fahrzeug ist also unbedingt nötig.Ansonsten waren wir mit dem Haus sehr zufrieden!"

"We had a relaxing time in Chalice's peaceful house in Xativa Old Town. Living and sleeping areas were comfortable. We felt that a few details in the kitchen and bathrooms still needed attention, and the double bedroom pictured is a level away from the nearest shower; but in general the house is pleasant to be in, Xativa is a most interesting and appealing town, and Chalice was very welcoming and helpful."

"The photos of this house accurately showed all its features, there were no surprises. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped (some of the group found the beds too hard, others were happy with their bed). We especially liked the roof terrace and kitchen. Sadly before we arrived we had real problems getting an answer and understanding how we could get into the property at the beginning of our stay- this caused a lot of stress for two friends who were the first to arrive. "A great little house with an ideal size garden. The location is great as it is by a small river that runs into the sea. The beach is literally 2 minutes walk. Lovely beach which our dogs thoroughly enjoyed. The house itself was clean and the beds very comfortable. The owner was lovely and very helpful, and the house met all our needs. Just a shame we didn't have time to stay longer."

They were wonderful hosts who remained available throughout our entire visit for questions and recommendations. The home was spectacular with enough room to comfortably fit our family of 9. It was a wonderful mix of historic charm and personality with modern day conveniences. Perhaps the best decision we made this trip was to have Chef Leon do a private dinner and wine pairing.
