Good food outlets nearby including a small supermarket. Hotel is generally good, carpets are dirty and stained on floors and rooms. Tea and coffee facilities are lacking at times as room service will leave very short supplies eg sugar and milk and then when you go and ask reception downstairs they will give you what they have often short on sugar and milk even with them. Room we stayed in was dusty and it is evident cleaning is not to an acceptable international standard however I was not too fussed to complain as we were out throughout the day till the late evening when we returned to rest. For a hotel there are areas that require significant improvements to enhance customer experience however we enjoyed Berlin." The staff is extremely friendly, check in and check out were smooth, and the pricing is reasonable. The location is convenient, close to bus lines, with taxis always available and Uber typically just two to three minutes away. The buffet breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of meats, vegetables, fruits, cereals, and juices. There is also a convenient self service store on site where you can buy snacks, beverages, and essentials such as phone chargers. It is simple and efficient, just scan, pay, and go. The only downside was the WiFi. Be aware that your room location will directly affect your connectivity. During my 13 day stay, I was only able to connect to the hotel WiFi from my room about 2 percent of the time. The remaining 98 percent of the time I had to rely on my phone’s cellular data. In contrast, the connection in the lobby was stable and fast. I mentioned it to the staff and hope management improves coverage with proper signal extenders. If you rely on internet for work, having a backup option such as an eSIM is strongly recommended, as it was essential for me during my stay." I booked this place for valentines day because it was advertised as fancy and romantic but it was shabby and underwhelming. if I'd known what we were gonna get, I would've just booked a hostel and probably had a better experience for about half the money."
