Since I couldn’t connect to your customer service, so I called the police to settle the case. It was a breach of contract since my contract showed a room with shower and toilet. The guy was very rude and impolite. He is a mess behaving like a barbarian and illiterate. Don’t book this hostel for their target is to cheat your money. For 100 dollars, he can say you have to go down 8 floors to go to toilet. This guy is so poor,so he would cheat you money. The room was definitely not as large as it looks in the picture, and our 2nd bed was a fold out chair they tried to convince us was ... a bed. We also had to pay extra for a private bathroom, so make sure you realize that. There’s no way we were doing shared bathrooms on floor one. Despite that, the bed was comfortable. More comfortable than it looks for being so thin. The staff was generally pretty nice. Overall, it was a convenient place to stay. Did I love it? No. Would I stay there again? Our room ended up being in Chungkung Mansions rather than Mirador Mansions as advertised - this is not uncommon with HK guesthouses. While walking up through Chungkung Mansions is always quite an experience, once you actually get to the New Kowloon Hostel bit everything was clean, quiet and fine. We were upgraded to an "ensuite", possibly the world's smallest ensuite but a nice touch all the same!
