Villa Ivana will always be my choice in Kotor.
I was not wrong on choosing Villa Ivana on my trip to Kotor. Location and comfort of a n8ce bed, clean and elegant room is a big plus.

Great location
Fabulous place! The rooms are spacious, the terraces are lovely and relaxing. The location is the best! It’s the first hotel as you enter the city walls coming from the bus station - so only about a 5 minute walk. Friendly service and I would recommend!

Great people. Great property. Fantastic location.
Love the hotel and staff and location. Really amazing to be so close to it all and have Access to a deck/rest area on the city wall! They offer extra services to guests too. Arrangements etc. Just ask! Really friendly and great rooms. Two minor side notes: it is noisy near bar so bring earplugs if you need them, and it’s a pedestrianized city inside the walls so the listing mentions “parking” but should specify that is public street parking if available or paid lot €10 a night when I visited.

Great location, great service, great price
The managers were extremely helpful in helping us get oriented in the city, and the apartment itself was wonderful. There is free parking in several nearby lots that the managers can help with as well, and we never had difficulty finding a spot even at the height of tourist season. There was some noise from nearby bars, but it wasn't a problem in the bedroom. We had one power outlet that didn't seem to work, but this didn't create any issues for us as we just used another. All in all, it's a great villa in a great location with great service.

Uhmmm...Kotor is simply an amazing city...It’s unimaginable how the city originated between the wall and the mountains. Here within this space is Villa Ivana with all the city endowment. At Villa Ivana everything is a touch of life, starting with the welcoming staff. City was quiet busy also was the neighborhood, but then who cares as the breath of freshness of the city makes you feel hirray. I will surely visit again...Villa Ivana will see me again.

The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome here; they gave us great advice on where to eat and drink, as well as what to see on our visit to the town. The bedroom we stayed in was wonderful and we were thrilled with the view of the harbour from the terrace. The property is conveniently located within the Old Town walls and is only a very short walking distance from some lovely bars and restaurants. I would recommend staying at Villa Ivana to anyone planning a trip to Kotor. Thanks for having us!

Welcoming Apartment Hotel in Old Town Kotor
Beautiful apartment style hotel nestled inside the old town of Kotor, near the south gate. Several terraces within the property, with stunning views of the mountains and the bay. And the staff was nothing short of fantastic. This was hands down the best hotel during our trip across Montenegro and Croatia!

Good find
This place isn’t easy to find (ask for directions at the info kiosk outside the main gate of old Kotor), but you’ll be happy you did. My room turned out to be a spacious two bedroom suite, nicely kept up and furnished with a decent kitchen. It even has a washing machine (no dryer though), which was a godsend. Easy walk to lots of good restaurants and shops. There is free parking in a lot just outside the town gate but it can be tough getting a spot. The manager also runs the hits shop next door, but she was very helpful, and linens were changed daily. It’s somewhat noisy in the evening from the restaurant next door but they close at 11 - otherwise it’s a pretty quiet corner of the old city.

Disappointing room compared to internet. Very cramped. They were unable to give us the room we booked because they " had no key". No hint of an apology. Alternative was tiny room and tiny bathroom with noisy bar opposite. Location was great and bed comfortable. But left with bad feeling.

Comfortable Bed but Noisy surroundings.
The only complaint we have is the noise heard from the local bar where loud music is played until 1am. The music is so loud it actually feels like it is in the room. People talking below in the street can also be heard quite clearly from the room. Disappointing since I had requested a quiet room which was Obviously ignored. We noticed the TV is not geared towards people from UK or Australia. I would I would only recommend it to a friend if Ivana guaranteed no disturbance from the local bar until the early hours. There are several rooms/apartments so perhaps she has quiet rooms?

Villa Ivana is the perfect stay in Kotor, set inside the old town walls in a very quiet corner of town, with great views from the breakfast terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. A very well equipped and comfortable mini-apartment. The only downside I can think of is the complicated situation of parking - there are no dedicated spaces offered at the hotel as no cars are allowed inside the old town walls. The car park in front of old town has spaces but is not cheap. Otherwise though a perfect stay!

In the middle of the old town
This is a great location right in the middle of the old town. There are plenty of places to eat and it close to the walk up to the fortress. Free parking is approx. five mins walk away in a public area. You might have to wait a while for someone to leave. The room had a small kitchen area where you can make tea and do basic cooking. The bed was comfortable. Because you are in an old building in a walled town the room was a bit dark although you do have access to a seating area along the city walls where you can enjoy the sunset.

Fantastic location and very good value. Room was generally comfortable but a bit on the small side. Not enough hot water in the shower for 2 people, even with really quick showers, which was a bit annoying. Check in and check out procedure was a bit confusing - there's no reception desk and although the owner lives on site she doesn't speak any English, though she has people helping her out who do, and generally everyone was very friendly.

My reservation was not there but they gave me a major up grade room. The problem was that I did not no how to use some of the things in the room like the satellite or heater and there is no reception area to just ask. If you don't want to sleep before 11pm (loud music outside) then no problem at all with this place.

So central to Gorgeous old town!
Villa ivana has only 4 or 5 rooms, which share two lovely terraces. The smallish room we had was on the first level, and it had one small window. Other than it could have used more light, it was lovely, but the real win is being right inside the old town which is convenient. The host directed us to nearby free parking. She also did a load of laundry for us, gratis.

Close to bus depot. Inside Old City. Very central. Because the window didn't shut properly it was noisy until late in the evening when the locals went to bed. Locals speak very loudly. Room had two double beds so there was somewhere to put cases but would be very crowded with more than 2 people. Need bedside tables and block out curtains. Modern shower was very good. Very hot water. Kitchenette on landing was good for boiling water and making a meal. Able to leave luggage until we caught the evening bus. Very friendly and helpful owner.

But the owner was so kind to find us a room in the four star hotel near the main gate of the fortress in Kotor, because the the villa is located inside the old town. And the owner cover the difference in the price. So the owner safe face with this action, and we been completely satisfied from the hotel.

Very nice apartment within the old city walls. Check in was easy, and the family running the apartment was friendly. The room came with AC and a little kitchen for our own use. We were in Croatia for two weeks prior to going to Montenegro, and this apartment was nicer (and cheaper) than any place we stayed in Croatia.

I would recommend this villa in a heart bit. Located in the middle of the main scene of the old city, it provides you full privacy when you are inside. It has a small kitchen with a fridge and a stove. It's a plus if you enjoy cooking. You may take your dinner and have it on the roof enjoying the lights and sounds of the old city and the privacy of your company. You may ask the stuff to do your laundry. The room is cleaned daily, the sheets are nice and crisp. Overall Very pleasant stay.

The beds are incredible - right down to beautiful sheets it was just like home. We had apartment 3 and it was fabulous. If you are heading to Kotor and want to stay in the Old town it would be a good choice.

We turned up at hotel Ivana and the guests the night before us had broken a window so we didn't have a room. In advance Ivana had organised for us to stay at a beautiful hotel around the corner and paid the difference in price. Amazing service and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thanks!

There were two rooms, one with a queen, one with two singles and a modern bathroom with a newish washing machine. Both rooms had AC that worked well. The wifi worked well. It's located within stari grad but far enough away from all the noise that you shouldn't hear anything at night. It isn't far from the castle wall climb entrance either. I'd go in the evening or early morning.

I love this apartment hotel. It is located in the corner of the old town. It is very convenient to the bus station, supermarket, the fortress and, of course, the old town. It is very clean and stylish apartment. I was single there, and I booked a queen bed room. It is good for a couple. It has a kitchen and refrigerator in the room and even it has pan, plates, cups, knives and forks. So, if you have a longer stay and want to cook some food, you could! I did not cook but I bought some fruits and milk from the supermarket which is 5 minutes away from the hotel. The terrace of the hotel is also very fascinating and you will enjoy the view.

Best possible location in Kotor
Two day visit during 10 days on Dalmation coast. The villa is the first place to stay upon entering the walled old town from a short walk from bus station. The daughter, who speaks excellent English, welcomed us and gave us some recommendations. The home is multilevel, and although we had only reserved one room, we were given an entire apt with kitchen, bath and two bedrooms. The kitchen was quite noisy from a bar across the street, but the sound did not carry at all when the kitchen door was closed, and gave a more authentic experience anyway. The terrace is wonderful, and you do not have to go through anyone's home as an other poster suggested. We even used the washer and then hung up our clothes on the line on the terrace while overlooking all the yachts - a very different experience! We were very comfortable and had no complaints at all. Welcoming host, comfortable bed, good shower with plenty of hot water, and good a/c. I highly recommend staying here.

Great hotel and great value for money. Perfect for a bit of self catering though not for full scale cooking. You need to find a bigger apartment if thats what you want. The roof terrace was separate from the apartment but that was no big deal, and the views were spectacular. A noisy bar nearby till after midnight made sleeping in one of the bedrooms difficult but this can be a problem anywhere in the old town of Kotor with late night beat music. It would not stop me re-booking.

Fantastic location within the walls of the old city. Nice managers who suggested activities for our three day stay. Our apartment had an unusual layout, having to go through one of the bedrooms to reach the kitchen, but it was fine for just the two of us. We could hear word for word the conversation of the people in the adjoining room. The bed was too big for the room, without enough space to get out on each side. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
