"Upper House was definitely that. I stayed in Gothia Towers and then did an upgrade for two nights. It was a good stay in both places but they certainly turned up a notch at Upper House. The spa was wonderful. Not too crowded as they made reservations. The saunas and Hamam room were very nice. Pools were warm and well maintained. Breakfast at both places was good but I was able to get made to order breakfast at upper house which was very nice. Service was superb in both places, The staff were helpful and friendly My only feedback would be to expand the menus at the in hotel restaurants. The pizza at The Corner was nice and fresh."

"Welcoming and traditional hotel, spotlessly clean with very amenable and friendly staff.. Great location, walking distance (approx 300 metres) to Grand Central Train station & Bus terminal, also 7 min walk to Gamla Ullevi sports venues.. Airport bus (every 20 mins during day) runs to and from Bus terminal.. I think it’s an ideal base from which to explore the city via trams which are plentiful and timely, or stroll the nearby shops, cafes and restaurants.. Some nice touches in the hotel which include, a wide open stairwell, tastefully decorated, each room has an actual ‘key’ to bedroom, there’s also free cake & tea/coffee served early pm.. I had a single bedroom, which was adequate in size, bed was comfortable, room was clean, it had tv, shower, washing facilities, though didn’t have in-room tea/coffee facilities.. Space to hang clothes, but no in-room safe.. I didn’t try the breakfast due to my schedule, however, overall the hotel met my needs and I’d jump at the chance to return, should the need to go back to Gothenburg occur.."

"Stayed 3 nights as a solo traveller. The location is fantastic, next to central train and bus station. Room was fine with a comfortable bed and kettle. Great shower. Room slightly chilly and I couldn't get radiator to heat up. The breakfast was included and quality and choice of food really good Also next to an impressive shopping centre. I had an early flight and staff kindly provided a breakfast selection in reception at 5am, which was super. I had paid extra when booking, to have use of the spa facilities, which are open till 9pm. Large spa bath, sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool, foot baths and loungers, plus refreshments counter. Only criticism, wet floor extremely slippery. I nearly fell and saw younger guests slip too! I was handed a robe and a couple of toiletries at check in, but didn't need them and at checkout was asked to pay for those items (unexpected!) Overall I highly rate this hotel"

(Transports tram super efficace si vous ne voulez pas marcher) Le personnel devait tout fois nous fournir l’information pour l’accès à la piscine sur le toit. L’accès à la piscine requiert une carte différente que celle de la chambre."

"Our room was absolutely gorgeous. Every last detail had been thought through and was perfect, from the soft gold carpets and comfy bed to the great shower. Breakfast was brilliant too, with everything you could possibly want and more. The staff were lovely throughout our stay, and the bar was so interesting and a really great space. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily go back. Would definitely recommend!"
