Unusual place right in the centre of town
Exactly as described with very comfortable beds. Right in the centre of town, which means it’s in a very crowded location. But the bed was fantastic and the air con amazing.

This hotel was as advertised, it was not pretentious. The bed is really comfortable. There is a little bit of funk to the design which gives it a warm feel.

Party hotel . Not for people who go to bed early
A bit overpriced for premium rooms. Very noisy from local nightclub and street noise. But you are in the middle of the action. Very hot if your room faces the sun. The air con cannot cope with heat nor humidity. There is no fridge and no TV. This is a hotel for adults. More geared for men to bring back their conquests. There is an adult swing in every room. This is not a family hotel. Get the picture. Housekeeping and reception staff were fantastic. Always a joy to deal with. . I can't say the same for the management. Just a bad vibe. Manageress quite rude and standoffish- might have been the heat and lack of business... Go figure...

The surrounding is indeed quite noisy, however with the recent dramatic event that occurred to the King of Thailand, no loud music or clubs were able to operate normally.... There is a fridge in every room, as indicated in the amenity list of the room, and no TV, as indicated also in the same list. On behalf of the management team, we apologize if any of our team member appeared to be rude to you. We also take good note of your analogy :) At last I wish you had mentioned in your comment what you do consider to be overpriced as a room rate, since at this period the room rate was not above 30 Euros. We hope to great you again someday and be able to fix all the point you highlighted in your review in order for you to enjoy a smooth and flawless experience in Koh Samui. The restourant under the hotel is being renovated now, so it basocaly means heavy noise during most hours of the day. We were put in a room right above a construction site. The noise was terrible. When we asked to move to another room, we were offered to upgrade for a more expensive room with a discount, only if we book atleast another night. So not only they put us in the worst possible room where you hear drilling and hammers all day, they tried to get us pay more. I gave them 2 starts only because at some point it looked like they were trying to help (which turned out to be wrong).

Note that renovation was only taking place from midday to 9 pm. When our staff checked on you after we granted you a free upgrade to a Deluxe room, you did not mention any negative points or any kind of complain, so we are quite surprise to read that you had such a wrong experience with the hotel. Clean, central, very loud, questionable service.
Whilst the hotel itself is very clean and modern, the noise is certainly an issue. The construction going on next door until late in the evening is the least of any noise concerns as the local nightclub behind the hotel will keep even the heaviest sleepers up until gone 2am. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, my room key (made of metal) snapped and I was made to feel like a criminal. I was quizzed by staff on 5 separate occasions as to why it had broken. I was told that CCTV would be reviewed to validate my story. For the rest of my stay I had to be escorted to my room each time I wanted to get in. This experience really let the hotel down. If you're in Sumui to party until the early hours, and have an interest in 'this kind' of hotel, then I'm sure it could be very suitable. Just hope that your key doesn't break!

Our location is very central in Chaweng and surrounded by the most popular night clubs on Koh Samui, as it reads on our website as well as it lists that there are renovations taking place. As for your room key, which is made of metal, that was snapped in the door lock of the correct room for the first time at our property, we felt a need to investigate a little bit. We have to replace the door knob as an expense to the hotel. As reported, you returned to your room at a late hour so we felt it necessary to ask you personally what happened. If you felt like a criminal that was never the intention. Of course we will check the CCTV's as a follow-up procedure. We take a security deposit upon check-in for the key. If the key is lost or broken typically the deposit is not returned. Which is why you were asked by multiple staff to recount your story. We make sure every guest is treated fairly, which is why we took the time to review your situation instead simply charging you the cost of the key. We were at Pleasure Harbor as part of our honeymoon trip. The staff and management were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the neighborhood. The location of the hotel puts it right next to the main nightlife street in Samui which is excellent if that's what you're looking for. Don't expect a traditional quiet hotel, you won't get a quiet night sleep. It's bustling, busy and very loud at night. The hotel bar, tended by Apple while we were there, was a great place to have a good drink and chat with the friendly managers and ever-smiling staff. The design and decor of the hotel is thoughtful and full of little things that make you smirk or smile appreciatively. We had a great experience while there and would highly recommend.

Good location, interesting vibe!
The hotel is right in the center of Chaweng, which is good for partying however is pretty loud from the room if you want to take the night easy. Concept of the hotel is pretty cool however the room could use a little more lighting (st least in the bathroom).

Affordable and convenient
Very friendly staff and owner. Room was basic but comfortable, no TV. Great location for nightlife as you will hear the party outside all night long. Room walls are very thin, can hear talking in next room. A group of Indian men decided to have a party until 530am both nights I was there. Very very close to shopping and Ark Bar on Chaweng. A pleasant stay and the lobby lounge is GREAT to hang out at. LOVE the hotel decor

Great Location Right in the Heart of Beach Rd!
First I need to say that the owners are awesome and they constantly greet you and ask how your trip is going and offer to help when they can. We asked them for a Kettle to make hot water for coffee/tea, and had it the next morning. The rooms are nice and the air conditioner works great! The shower is HOT and works great, but as someone else pointed out, the reset button for the hot water is pretty high up there. If your short then its not easy to press it, its good I have some height. The beds are equipped with handcuffs and there is a sex swing in every room, very interesting I never saw that before. The rooms are cleaned daily and new towels, etc. The rooms don't have phones, so you need to go downstairs with any issue. The rooms are noisy until 2:30am when the music stops, you need to be a good sleeper. Its a trade off if you want to be in the HEART of the action. I mean really your in the middle of everything. You just walk out of the hotel and all of the clubs and restaurants are right there. We ate at Kao San across the street and Ark Bar is perfect for breakfast and of course to party at night. Ark bar is across the street. All in all I would highly recommend the hotel to others and I am sure to stay there again! Thanks for a great stay!!

"Pleasure" Hotel Is Anything But "Pleasurabl
Incredibly loud that the walls vibrated at midnight. Our room was on the first floor directly above a club. Was told by sales and marketing manager Amanda we could upgrade for almost double our room price. When I explained that I didn't think that was fair, she said "You knew about the noise before you booked about the room" WHAT?!? I was supposed to read the reviews ahead of time according to her... I explained that if you expect people to "upgrade" everytime, customers will be very unhappy with that, leave negative reviews, and then business will be affected. She said "you are, what, 1 out of 20 people who will do that?" EXCUSE ME? First off, I was not threatening her. Secondly, are you seriously treating a customer with such disrespect? She was very rude, cold, and patronizing. The whole point in booking this hotel over a hostel was because we wanted a peaceful sleep for once! We eventually received a room upgrade without a charge, albeit only after I was in tears. While the cost was supposedly double, the room was IDENTICAL with a small balcony, and of course, more peace. But I can't understand how they can justify charging double the price on the basis on the balcony. Which leads me to believe the room is double because of the silence you receive -which you SHOULD BE RECEIVING ANYWAYS IN A HOTEL-. Pay your neighbours rocking a night club to move, or move yourselves, don't extort tourists.

Room good, hotel staff fantastic, location great for partying and easy access to beach, shopping, restaurants. If you cannot sleep using earplugs expect to stay awake till 3am every night, the clubs are that close and loud.

il giudizio sull'albergo nel complesso è positivo. Non c'è il televisore in camera ma in effetti non è scritto tra i servizi solo che lo davo quasi per scontato visto come si presenta l'hotel. Camera ampia e spaziosa io ho soggiornato nella deluxe per poter fumare nel balcone; in realtà c'è un minuscolo terrazzino ma sufficiente solo che se piove non sei coperto. Condizionatore abbastanza rumoroso e secondo me non perfettamente funzionante; andava giorno e notte a 24 gradi senza mai fermarsi. Essendo in pieno centro si sentono i rumori dei locali vicini ma io ero in una stanza laterale e non ho avuto problemi (andavo anche a letto tardi). Buona pulizia della camera. Letto comodo. Personale disponibile h24 e discrezionale. Lo vedo più adatto per singoli.

Auf der Partymeile von Koi Samui etwas versteckt fast am Ende einer sehr dunklen dreckigen Gasse. Im unteren Bereich der Empfang im Nebenraum eine Disco die trotz keiner Besucher die Musik jede Nacht bis 3 auf höchster Lautstärke spielt. Wirklich nur für absolute Partygänger geeignet.

Want to have fun and enjoy? This is your hotel!
I travel a lot, I spend 60-80 days a year in hotels. I must say that at Pleasure Harbour staff did excellent job, I have never felt so welcome when checking in to any hotel (especially in Thailand). Their "pleasure" theme for adults showing on photos first made me bit uneased, but mut after I arrived I noticed that it was just merely a design angle and a good one. PHB is located in the middle of Chaweng Beach nightlife, and it's only 5 minutes walk to the beach on the other side of main street. My 8 days stay was absolutely great, thanks to superb international management team this hotel have! Only negative thing what comes to my mind was misplaced photos at Hotels.com site, those photos are showing a swimming pool what this hotel does not have. Also site's google map link was pointing to totally wrong location on Chaweng, luckily I have been there many times and and was able to tell taxi the correct location.

sehr nette Managerin/ Besitzerin, die sich um alle Belange schnell gekümmert hat. Tolles Design der Zimmer. wirklich nur 3 Minuten zu Fuss zum Strand. würde jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren. Zimmer mit Liebesschaukel ausgestattet, und die Suiten wohl mit Whirlpool und Lap Dance Stangen :)

As extended stay for me, it was a really good value. If you enjoy night life it is a must for you to stay here. Service and quality is really great. Small thing is a noise during night, but you get use to it - or go party to avoid laud hours. Would be good to improve a bit security as door locks, and safe are not the safest solution available. But thats i think only complain you may find.

Great Value; Good place for holiday start
Very nice stay which i even extended. The value for the money is really big. The owners and staff are very nice, you really feel like at home. If you need any help, they are more than happy to do so. One small thing may be considered as minus and thats a very close proximity to the Nightlife meaning you will hear music till approx. 3 a.m. but this as well can be considered as huge plus as the night life is just next door. I very liked the focus on details like noise canceling plugs if you really would like to sleep during the party time and many other small details. All services I tried were really great from lobby bar to laundry or anything else you may looking for.

Spannendes Produkt - ein bisschen Shades of Grey
Ich war für drei Nächte im Hotel. Grundsätzlich passt vor allem das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Service-Performance der Mitarbeiter war wirklich gut. Vor allem "Rona" war eine wirklich gute Gastgeberin. Die Zimmer sind ein wenig im "Fivty Shades of Grey Style" gehalten. Leider ist es Nachts sehr laut da dieses Hotel inmitten im Vergnügungsviertel von Chaweng liegt. Alle Clubs der Umgebung sind von 1-2 Minuten zu erreichen (Ark Bar / Green Mango). Allerdings liegen für alle Gäste Ohropax bereit. Für Partypeople ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Zur Erholung ist es ehr ungeeignet. Leider haben die Zimmer keinen TV und auch ein Frühstück kann nicht im Hotel gebucht werden. Es gibt auch keinen Fahrstuhl. Zusammenfassend ist zu sagen, dass man dieses Hotel ohne Bedenken buchen kann wenn man die oben genannten Punkte akzeptiert. Die Lage ist wirklich "Top". Ansonsten war es im Hotel sehr sauber - die Zimmer waren gut gereinigt und auch die Ausstattung war echt nice. Und man muss wirklich noch einmal den Servicegedanken lobenswert erwähnen. Es waren während meiner Reise die freundlichsten Mitarbeiter.

Bästa personalen som var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Verkligen toppenservice då de alltid hälsade på en och frågade om allt var bra, kom med tips om olika saker och hjälpte till med bokning av flyg samt såg till att jag kom till flygplatsen. Man var verkligen mån om att gästerna skulle trivas. Rummen bra med verktyg för leksugna vuxna som piffar upp semestern. Kan vara lite ljud från festställen omkring men det finns öronproppar och mörkläggningsgardiner för den känsliga resenären.

Ein absolutes Klassehotel direkt im Zentrum
Das gesamte Hotel ist frisch renoviert. Ich habe in all meinen Asien-Urlauben noch kein so sauberes Hotel im 3-Sterne-Bereich gesehen. Das Design ist sehr extravagant und birgt Reize und Spass. Das Hotel ist zu 100% auf Kundenzufriedenheit ausgelegt und das Personal entsprechend geschult. Das Design ist sehr extravagant und provoziert schon mit diversen Reizen, Spaß am Aufenthalt zu haben. Die gebuchte Zimmerkategorie (Premium-Room) war bei Expedia mit Badewanne bzw. Whirpool angegeben, was nicht den Tatsachen entsprach. Der Hotelmanager verweis auf einen Fehler der Website und ich wurde ganz ohne Aufregung mit freundlicher Selbstverständlichkeit ein eine Suite verlegt. Das Hotel ist direkt im Zentrum von Chaweng und liegt quasi Tür an Tür mit der Soi Green Mango. Mehr im Stadtleben geht nicht. Der Lautstärkepegel der Disko- und Partystrasse lässt aber so auch keinen ruhigen Nachtschlaf vor 3 Uhr früh zu. Den Kompromiss sollte man aber eingehen und das Hotel erleben.
