We had so much fun at Avani! Always has good vibes. Kind of feels like classic Miami instead of Thailand but was still awesome! Beach was under rated! Crystal clear with soft sand Nunina at the pool bar was exceptional! Went above and beyond for us. Would definitely come back again

Staff were absolutely amazing! Staff name Fada gave us suggestions on where to go eat authentic Thai foods. All 3 restaurants were top notch. They were the best restaurants we had during our stay in Ko Samui. Thank you, Fada!! Give her a raise Avani management!!! She made our stay welcoming and pleasant.

Just ok. Don’t have your hopes up.
Great friendly concierge staff. Most of hotel is clean but you see marks everywhere. AND THE ROOM stinks. Of damp/ BO/ wet cement. I just don’t know how to describe it. The hotel management are well aware as there were 2 air fresheners in such a small room. I only booked for 2 nights and was glad to be getting out. This isn’t something cleaning staff can clean. The smell has seeped into the pillows, mattress, curtains. The rooms are in desperate need of a bleach clean over and new furniture, beddings etc must be bought. It’s very much a party hotel. Music starts at midday and continues into the night. Doesn’t need to be this loud even if it’s a party hotel. Breakfast is standard across Koh samui. Restaurant is good but can’t sit and enjoy for too long as music volume is unbearable. Can hear the music from the neighbourhood. As with all samui hotels this one too exaggerates it’s star rating. High 3*/low budget 4*. 2 pools. 1 is the internal pool. Good size. The beach side pool that everyone wants to go to has sun loungers but you must reserve it and you must spend minimum 3000 bhat lol. Who’s eating/ drinking that much? Kinda misleading to advertise a beach side pool when your paid guest can’t even sit down without paying more.

Fantastic hotel with everything you need for a perfect stay. You can relax or party this hotel has it all. Id definitely stay again. The staff cant do enough for you. We got the airport taxi through the hotel and it worked perfectly.

The staff was friendly & accommodating the moment I got there! The resort is very clean & but the decor is super cute! The bed was super comfortable, the pools were beautiful & the gym was perfect to get a nice workout in! It was super easy to walk to anything I needed as well. Very conveniently located.

An amazing beachside stay
We had a late landing into Koh Sumi and upon arrival at Avani, hotel staff were very warm and welcoming. Check in was painless and efficient and included complimentary drink. The room was spacious and bright, well furnished and excellent amenities. The super king mattress was extremely comfortable and airconditioning worked brilliantly. The buffet breakfast has a large range and was delicious, overlooking the beach. Staff were extremely courteous and went above and beyond. Some extremely minor issues were the pillows - being feather, did not offer support and the music from the club, located on the same premises may not be to everyones liking while they are sitting on their balconies. Music does stop about 11pm. Wifi worked all the time. About 15mbps download. Overall I would highly recommend and love to visit again. Words and photos do not do this place justice.
