Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann hier prima entspannen und chillen und einfach die Seele baumeln lassen. Auch das Essen im Restaurant ist köstlich. Allerdings ist man ohne fahrbaren Untersatz dort ganz schön abgeschnitten. Tatsächlich ist da eigentlich gar nichts rundherum. Wenn das nicht stört, der ist hier super aufgehoben! Man darf in den einfachen Hütten kein Luxus erwarten, aber das habe ich auch nicht. Die Standardzimmer sind sehr einfach und nur über steile Stufen zu erreichen. Die anderen Zimmerkategorien sind geräumiger und haben schöne Terrassen. Kleine Wäscheständer vorhanden. Ein Wasserkocher wurde auf Nachfrage hin zur Verfügung gestellt. Teebeutel u Instantkaffee konnte man dann vom Frühstück mit aufs Zimmer nehmen. Der Pool hat eine tolle Größe und Liegen und Sonnenschirme sind dort vorhanden. Am ruhigen Strandabschnitt kann man jedoch nur auf Handtüchern liegen. Diese erhält man aber vom Hotel. Das Meer ist nahezu frei von Steinen und herrlich. Keine Badeschuhe nötig. Der Strand lädt zu langen Spaziergängen ein und in kleinen Restaurants kann man jederzeit gut essen. Auch die Strandverkäufer bieten Snacks an. Die Anlage selbst könnte viel grüner sein. Gerade um den Pool, den Frühstücksraum und die Rezeption herum überwiegt der blanke Beton. Da fehlen einfach die tropischen Pflanzen. The room was spacious with a small terrace looking out over the beach. The bathroom was v tired and in need of an upgrade but had all you needed. We loved the beach and being able to sunbathe round the pool which was lit at night. Man hat die Auswahl zwischen Grand Deluxe Bungalows, Deluxe Bungalows und recht einfachen Bungalows. Obwohl man sagen muss Deluxe ist relativ. Wir hatten den Deluxe Bungalow, der war sehr gut aber man sollte sich von dem Begriff Deluxe nicht zuviel erwarten. Die Lage ist direkt am Strand. Schöner Pool. Frühstück ist allerdings eine Katastrophe. Aber alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub. We found them clean, each one having a little balcony with table and chairs and a sea view. Fairly basic but suited just fine. Not that big so better for a couple or single person. Could squeeze one child in but a family of 4 would struggle. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was delicious and very good value. Nice quiet location right on the beach with a 15 min walk into the centre of Maenam. Very quiet. It rained all day our first day, so we weren't able to enjoy the beach. The accommodations were quaint, reminded me of a cabin. Low water pressure, but warm water. The hotel restaurant was lovely, reasonably priced for Thai fare. The wifi would only work in the restaurant, it didn't extend to the bungalows. Overall it was very quiet and relaxing. Aircon worked well, but there was minimal linens (only a sheet for a blanket) so we just stuck with the fan. Staff was very friendly. There wasn't much around the bungalows aside from a few quiet bars and a convenience store on the main road. We were able to rent a scooter, and scoot around a bit. Not too far from Chaweng.
