"The cottage was unsafe and dirty. Broken garden chairs which were unsafe to sit on. Two bedrooms were interconnecting which wasn’t mentioned in the advert, there were no windows in the downstairs’ bedrooms. The hob in the kitchen didn’t work, the only kitchen knife was a bread knife, one of the dining chairs was broken, we had to wash cutlery, plates and glasses before using. There were nails and screws perturbing from various places. Mouse droppings on the bedroom floor, dirty bed linen in one...

The information I had was that the permit would expire well beyond our stay. I shall challenge, but not holding my hopes out."
