"We had a lovely stay-- the apartment was cozy and well-appointed, and it's located an easy 25 minute walk or short tram ride from the Alstadt/Old Town. Grocery store and multiple bakeries are directly across the street. We knew this going into the booking, but the host's warning about the church bells is accurate-- they do a vigorous toll at 7am sharp each morning. "Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"
