Arriving on a busy Saturday evening (lively bar, good atmosphere), would like to have seen signage for where to check-in, but after locating the right member of staff, we received a friendly welcome. 2nd floor room was very clean with good facilities, but unfortunately the extent of the sloping walls have driven a layout and bathroom configuration that overall weren't suitable for my husband who is 6'3", but were also a challenge for me, who at a smallish 5'4" could not stand up straight beside the bed. Bed was not very comfortable (could feel springs) Breakfast offering wasn't huge, but the food was nice. Would stay again if could be guaranteed a different room
