"On arrival we were given very friendly welcome, and we're told upgrade us to deluxe room, which we were very pleased with. Room was on upper floor, and had lift to second floor then few stairs to our room. Room was very comfortable, with sofa and chair, good size bathroom with bath and walk in shower, and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and we also had dinner one night and was ok. Would definitely recommend."

Warwick Castle Hotel and Knight's Village

"We really enjoyed our stay in the woodland lodges at Warwick Castle. The staff we encountered were all really nice and friendly. We had breakfast included in our stay, there was a decent variety. We had take away pizza from the Knights tavern which we took back to our room but you can eat in the bar if you wish too. We would come back and stay in the lodges again, maybe in the summer of next year when the jousting returns to Warwick Castle. We also really enjoyed the Falconers quest show at the castle, the birds are stunning and they fly over your head."

"There was mix up between our confirmed room type that we had booked and paid for on Expedia (Executive room) compared to what Expedia had sent to the hotel for our booking (Standard room). As a result, the first room we were given keys to was definitely a step down from what we had expected and, honestly, wasn't in the best of shape. Chips on furniture, paint missing etc. (see photos). It also didn't feel the cleanest. The hallway carpets on the way there also seemed worn and in need of a vacuum. Not a good first impression. The hallway floors are also very uneven but it is an old hotel so that is to be expected. The front desk lady was very understanding and accommodating as we worked through the room mix-up. Even though the hotel was nearly fully booked, she was able to put us in a Superior room which was newly decorated and very clean. Much appreciated. Only oddity with this one was that the bed rolling significantly on the new flooring when we sat on it! Very unnerving and potentially dangerous. Parking was good and felt safe and was included in the booking. The continental breakfast was also good and the staff friendly. Overall we were happy with our visit because of the room we ended up in. We understand that the hotel is being worked on to freshen it up a bit but we wouldn't want to stay there in one of the standard rooms, definitely not for their normal asking price."
