The cottage contained most things we needed and instructions from the property manager we’re clear and accurate. It was great to be able to self cater as if at home. "Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. "We absolutely loved Brownstone Lodge. Perfect location near Lough Carra in County Mayo. We were able to do some fishing when the weather allowed. The remoteness of the location was amazing, so quiet and so peaceful. And the lodge was well stocked, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the company of our caretakers and they made sure that we had everything that we needed. We had a lovely time and we cannot wait to come back!"
