The Metro Hotel Dublin Airport

The Metro Hotel Dublin Airport

10/10 Excellent
"The free shuttle was great. It ran every half hour. The staff were friendly. It is really close to the airport. We only spent a short time there, but the lounge was nice and the beds were comfortable."

Maldron Hotel Newlands Cross

8/10 Good
"Rooms are clean, they change towels daily, and you get free water which is handy. The location is great and it’s much better value than staying in the city centre. Only downside: the wall is a bit thin, so you can hear noise from the corridor at times."

"the hotel was excellently located for an overnight stay to catch a flight. Reasonably priced airport transfer. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well worth the price. We especially liked the offer where dinner and breakfast was included in one very affordable price. We will definitely stay there again. we also stayed for two nights at the Premier Inn in Inverness, Scotland and the above comments apply there as well"

The Green Isle Hotel Dublin

8/10 Good
"Spacious room and bed was clean but quite a musty smell in room and corridor. Wedding event on so music vibrating the walls until 1am plus guests running up and down corridors until 4am but not the staff's fault. Reception staff polite and efficient. Car park offers no internal access to hotel and staircase/lifts are quite dirty. No problems overall but probably wouldn't stay again."

"We loved our stay. Room was great, the property was awesome. But the food….was some of the best we have ever had. We ate at the Carriage house, Kathleen’s Kitchen, the Pantry, and the breakfast buffet. Seriously the best culinary experience I’ve ever had. We will be back and I will be recommending the Carton House to anyone who will listen."

The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel

The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Family from New Zealand. We spent 3 nights as a family of teenagers while visiting Dublin. Although outside of Dublin city centre, this hotel is conveniently located near a park n ride tram station (Red Cow) that takes you right into Dublin city centre. This tram also goes directly passed the famous Guiness factory. The hotel was, huge, clean and friendly staff during our stay. Being from NZ the staff accommodated this by putting the Allblacks vs Springboks game on for us. It offers free parking which is a bonus, the restaurant on-site provided many options to choose from. Our room was cleaned daily, it was quiet and water bottles were provided each day. I do not know what other reviewers expect when they are booking a 4 star hotel to give a poor review but this place exceeded our expectations. We have traveled throughout England, France and Scotland before staying here in various hotels, airbnbs and this hotel overall tops many places we have stayed. I would definitely recommend this hotel"

Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport Hotel

Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"After a week of widely varied quality of hotel rooms while doing an all-around-Ireland tour, it was heavenly to open the door to our hotel room room and find two very nice beds and a well-appointed hotel room. OMG there was a fan and a Dyson fan in the room, so we could keep it cool. 10 days earlier we'd been suffering in a hotel room from this exact lack, so bless you Carlton for solving the issue without us needing to ask! They've got a couple very nice restaurants on site - our waiter at Kitty Hawk was one of the best I've ever had. While it is very close to the airport, you can see but not hear the planes. It was just an overnight before we flew home the next day, but I'd definitely come back to this hotel. Lovely place to stay."
