The owner and caretaker were only a phone call away and only too happy to help when we had a request for an extra evening stay. Nothing was to much trouble. "For ourselves, this was a perfect place to get away, totally private and extremely quiet. It's about 200m up a single track lane so you have to hope nobody is coming in the opposite when arriving or leaving. The garden in front of the cottage is totally enclosed so you cannot see the lane. The cottage is not large, but is very cosy and is ideally equipped. The Aga takes a bit of getting used to but there is also a small 2 ring electric hob if you do struggle. The Jacuzzi bath is a luxury,...
