Loch Rannoch Hotel and Spa

"Amazing hotel in a stunning location. Heritage room with a view over the river was spectacular. Evening meal in the estate room was class and breakfast was spot on too. Staff very helpful, sauna and steam room very nice too"

"Upon arrival, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel felt very luxurious from the get go and the customer service was exceptional, nothing was too much of a hassle for them. Our room was very modern and comfortable and had lovely extras including chilled boiled water and a Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast included was exceptional with plenty of options including an a la carte menu or a buffet. The only thing we weren't super impressed by was the dinner in the hotel restaurant. We would without a doubt stay here again but just book elsewhere for dinner."

"After reading a lot of negative views before we went I was worried what to expect. The cottage was,lovely very spacious and clean. A slight musty smell on entering and one of bathrooms but the place was spotless. Some of the paintwork could do with being refreshed but on the whole we had a lovely stay. The location and views were incredible. The staff at reception very helpful."

"Arrived early and Paul the owner let us in and showed us around .Stunning views . Everywhere was spotlessly clean and a very comfy bed . Really nice breakfast . Would definitely stay again ."

"Really lovely little hotel with the most friendly, helpful staff. They went out of their way to give me a ride back to Crianlarich when my bus didn't come. The food in the restaurant was excellent as well. Had a couple issues with the shower temperature in the room, but that was all. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick stopover with good value for the price!"

"Beautiful location; mountains, forrests and wild life a plenty.Saw the deer and many different kinds of birds. So relaxing in a natural environment, food for the soul.The cottage itself is perfect for 4, with a double and twin bedroom. Everything you need is provided, towels, loo roll, tea towels, washing up liquid and dish cloth. Lovely welcome gifts of shortbread and wine, thank you.Killin is just a short drive away and has everything you need, along with the river falls at the bridge."

"Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet mit seinen alten Möbeln und geschmackvoll gestalteten Räumen und macht somit teils fehlenden Handyempfang wieder wett. Außerdem lässt sich die Zeit super im Haus und in seiner malerischen Umgebung vertreiben. Gleich nebenan befindet sich das Loch Rannoch, worin wir so manches erholsames Bad nahmen oder einfach nur seinen Anblick genossen. Mit dem Fahrrad, zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto erkundeten wir die umliegende Landschaft und kleinen niedlichen Orte, wobei wir die vielseitige Natur der Highlands lieben gelernt haben.Wer einen Urlaub im Stile alten Schottlands und eine Auszeit von hecktischem, modernen Stadtleben sucht ist hier im Birchtreecottage genau richtig!"
