Thank you for your review, we welcome all guest comments. The humidity, heat and storms we had during your stay would cause the damp feeling unfortunately. The dog, that barked when the owners were out, we are so sorry to hear about. We would have definitely requested the owners take their pup with them, as a rule they are not to be left alone n the rooms to begin with.

Hi Jim, we are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. True, larger vehicles should park near the street where the parking is easier for guest to get in and out. We do have an office onsite and it is usually staffed between 10am -4pm every day and the phones are handled 8am - 6pm in the summer time, we also have an after hours line that can help guests. We are surprised to hear that you did not get any call backs, we will make sure to investigate and share this information with management.

Hey Vicki, I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. As noted on the site and in all our emails we have limited housekeeping. A full service is by request otherwise every two days we take out the trash and refresh towels. Sheets are changed every 5 days. We recommend guests use the outside shower and foot rinse outside the pool area before entering the room to rinse off the sand. We have no record of any requests or complaints until now, we would have gladly assisted you.As for the jewelry you called us the day after you checked out to report it missing. You said you were also not sure if it had fallen out and asked for us to check before you reported it to the police. We verified that it was not turned in and requested that you make the report so that we could assist the officers in their investigation. As of yet we have not been contacted by the police.

The See Sea is an older motel from the 60's that was totally remodeled in 2018. We love that she still has the vintage vibe with all the updated amenities. Go for a deluxe King room for extra space or one of the 2 bedroom suites. I am happy to see that staff was quick to help with any needs once you arrived.

Hey Dan! We do have the office staffed most days in the summer but it is limited hours and not into the evening. A number is on the office door for assistance if needed. Yes we do send all the information via email the day before arrival with a follow up text the day of with all the important information you may need.

Donna we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. We do only service every other day and it is noted we do not have irons or hairdryers. When linen or amenities are requested for replenishing we do our best to fulfill those requests. We will look into where this further.

Thank you for the review. We do have a staff member on location between 10-4pm during peak season. Rooms are serviced every other day, staff can assist getting you additional items on request. On the beach in August all a/c units can seem to struggle when temps reach very high however are working properly.

We are glad to see you enjoyed your stay. Yes, only the three two bedroom and one 1 bedroom suites have utensils in the kitchenettes.

Thankfully the carpet is only around the bed and the remaining flooring is the beautiful LVT flooring for the beachy look and easy care.

We are happy to hear that your room was clean on your arrival. You booked a deluxe king and it does not have a kitchen so there would not have been any kitchen items in there. All of our rooms are well equipped but only our apartments have kitchens. It is stated that we do not offer irons or hairdryers in our rooms.
