I can’t say enough good about The Gardens hotel. Beautiful decorating and landscaping everywhere you look … our room combined old-world southern charm with modern bath and great amenities. The staff treated us with kindness and warmth. The breakfast was exceptional and cooked to order! We had breakfast in a beautiful outdoor area.

Hidden gem hotel. Beautiful and secluded property right in the middle of Duval Street, but not on Duval Street so it’s very quiet. Very lush, great pool - after staying here I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Key West!

Absolutely loved our recent stay at The Gardens Hotel over the 4th of July weekend! This place is truly a hidden gem in Key West. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality—the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is gorgeous—lush, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. It's just a short walk to Duval Street, which makes it incredibly convenient, but far enough away that you feel like you’ve escaped into a quiet, tropical oasis. It was the perfect balance of lively Key West energy and serene relaxation. We looked forward to the delicious breakfast each morning, which was a wonderful way to start our days. Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying the gardens, or heading out to explore, everything felt easy and relaxed. Can’t recommend The Gardens Hotel enough—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

A wonderful atmosphere with an eclectic vibe. Live music each evening accompanied by nice wine and good conversation.The garden is beautiful with an amazing collection of rare Cuban pottery, diverse statuary and African Spurred Tortoises. Special support and care were provided by Ray, on site manager, who can make any island arrangements, and Doctor Phil, the pool bartender and philosopher. I hope to return soon and would highly recommend this centrally located gem a block away from Duval Street.
