"Very nice hotel although aspects are due for update. Comfortable rooms and dining space. Excellent breakfast choice and quality. Staff are very distant however - no smiles, no pleasantries and they generally don’t seem to like to be bothered. All staff appear like this. "

"I liked the location best. It is easy to access and centrally located in town; very walkable. The staff is very attentive and willing to help. Breakfast and other food options are excellent. Parking is not on-site and closest is a paid lot one hundred meters from the inn. Our room was directly above the street and entrance to the inn, so it was a bit noisy. Overall, I recommend Temperance Inn."

"I very much enjoyed my 2-night stay here. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the room was everything it should be, the atmosphere was pleasant and quiet, and the evening meal I had was very good - I particularly appreciated that everything arrived in a very timely way despite two quite large parties being catered for at the time (all credit to the staff that evening). One of the best stays I've had in quite a while. "

Post services was amazing as I lost my headphones, and they were able to find it and offered to send it via post. I would absolutely recommend this place."
