Find the Best Grange-over-Sands Bed and Breakfast

"Lovely hotel with fabulous friendly staff in a great location. On arrival we were upgraded to a junior suite with hot tub which was a lovely surprise. Easy walk down the hill to Bowness-On-Windermere. Just a bit of feedback with the Room. Not enough plug sockets in lounge area. The safe was located at top of wardrobe and neither myself or my daughter could reach. "

"We want to have a night away from home. The Hotel was beautiful in the coastal road and looked impressive. Old style with lots of charm and character. The room was lovely and looked out across the bay. Lovely and clean and a bathroom that had a bath with a shower. Elmis shower wash and hair products. There was a spar that also had Elmis but didn’t use the spar due to the little time we had. Evening meal in the restaurant was lovely. I had the duck and my husband had the pork. There was a nice range of drinks especially the gin. The weather wasn’t great and we had a thunderstorm in the night. The room was hot due to the humid weather. There was a stand alone fan to use if needed. The bed was comfy and the bedding was crisp and clean. There was a small table with tea and coffee with water and some biscuits. The lounge was beautiful and I felt like I was back in time to an era of after dinner drinks in the lounge. Music played in the back ground and it felt like you could sit and chat in comfort. The staff were lovely that served us. I felt like I had been treated like a queen. Breakfast was a good selection for all your breakfast needs. The scrambled eggs were delicious and the black pudding. There was an area in the front to sit and admire the beautiful view and gardens. My husband and I had a wonderful stay and will definitely return but for a few more days next time. "

"I had a really lovely stay. The hotel is peaceful, welcoming, really spacious and has very friendly and hospitable staff. Some of the furnishings are visibly old, but I don't mind that at all - personally, I find that much more environmentally-friendly. I had a beautiful view across the bay, and will definitely be returning to this hotel."

"Arrived late evening and was met by a very friendly receptionist, who sorted out everything very quickly. The property is being upgraded and therefore has building going on, how's the room was of a really good standard and very clean. I was very impressed. The breakfast was good and had a good choice. Will use again and definitely recommend it."
