"This is an amazing property………Classic somerset cottage equipped with all modern conveniences. Super quiet (well a few tractors collecting the harvest!). We all slept very well. It takes 30 mins to walk into Ilminster along a country trail past Dillington Hall for those that like a good walk. About 8 mins by car. We made day trips to the Haynes motor museum (amazing if you are a car buff…..some days they bring cars out of the museum and you can ‘poke around’ at them) and to Lyme Regis, which has...

"Excellent accommodation with super swimming pool, gym and sauna etc. Fantastic views of the countryside from the gardens, great local pubs with easy acesess to Tiverton and Bampton. Plenty of information available on things to do and places to eat supplied in a handy folder."

"The owner and his family couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay and were made very welcome. The Old Mill is central to the area we wanted to explore with Barnstable, Dunster, Tiverton, Minehead all within easy driving distance, through beautiful countryside. Local amenities gets an 8 as there was a short drive to Bampton to buy supplies, although we new this before we went and took most of the food we needed with us. "I'd firstly like to thank Mrs Thomas for our stay, and admit that the cottage was very good value for money. However, we found the bathing facilities to be poor, being extremely cold and inhospitable. We did use the bathroom once, but would not use it again a second time. Again, I need to remind that the cottage is very good value for money. Perhaps, not for families with children."
