"Great stay at Toyoko Inn - there were shuttle bus from Kawaguchiko station to the hotel which was really convenient. Check in was smooth and the room was great too. Was able to see mt Fuji from my room too. Daily breakfast was delicious too - guests had 2 options (either Japanese or Western breakfast) to choose from. There were also some restaurants and convenient shops nearby. Overall would recommend a stay here!"

"First off. The location is perfect if you're looking for that small town vibe. Hiroyuki-san did a phenomenal job with communicating with us before and during our stay. The fact that they also offer a free shuttle service to and from Kawaguchi Station is a huge plus as well! Oh, and if you're staying in a villa that is facing Mt. Fuji, you will definitely see Mt. Fuji, weather permitting, of course. Hiroyuki-san was very accommodating to us and was always ready and willing to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. Honestly, for the price, this place is kinda hard to beat for what it has to offer. If you're looking to stay in the Fujikawaguchiko area, DO NOT miss out on this place!"

"I am sorry I can’t give good recommendation for this property, the cleanliness of the room was terrible causing me to have rashes on my skin due to allergic reaction. The air conditioner wasn’t working properly, luckily the weather was just nice outside so we keep our windows open for the night. The con is that the location is great, just a few minutes walk to the lake, plus there is a 7-11 right in front of the hostel. "

"Hi, my stay was pathetic. The hotel manager was very very rude. I had booked a family room for 4 people. At the time of booking it showed 4 people. But at the hotel he said I did booking only for 2 people, so for a family room. I had to pay again - 25000 yen extra for 2 people at the hotel( for my daughter and son). He was very very uncooperative. not at all helpful. Told us to cancel our booking. Spoke rudely. Not at all understanding, I was scammed, despite booking a family room for 4, I had to pay more than the original room charge to accommodate. my entire family of 4 people. The room was small and ordinary."
