A lovely hotel, rooms were modern and super clean and stuff were super helpful. I’m booked to return there again later in the year and the staff were excited and ran off and found me a sticker for the hotel that I could put on my suitcase.

Clean room, accessible and walkable distance from train station and outlet. Shuttle to train station is pretty convenient. Luggage delivery service made a huge difference especially travelling with kids. Breakfast was an added bonus and much needed to start our day.

We came from Nagano and had been staying at the Mercure Matsushino resort hotel, and it was terrible. The Hotel Rosso was such a relief, everything was new and clean and in good condition. Even the food quality was so much better. I was so relieved at the upkeep and quality of the Hotel Rosso. I highly recommend staying here.

Hotel was very clean, 7 minute walk from Karuizawa train station and only 10 minute walk from the Prince outlet mall! Hotel also has a good modest breakfast selection too. A convenience store is also 1 min from the hotel entrance even though it closed at 11pm. Room was spacious and have everything we needed, thank you for the great stay!

Ideal stop over location

We only stayed one night here on our way back to Tokyo. The staff were very polite and helpful, the rooms was very clean with good amenities and the breakfast was fine.

Staff and very helpful. That have shuttle bus to take you down to ski centre and drive you back on scheduled time. Small breakfast variety but at least is complimentary. Super helpful before skiing. They also have free welcome drinks from 3-9pm daily. Small selection but good after a full day ski.
