The Royal Park Canvas - Ginza 8

"We had a wonderful stay at The Royal Park Canvas – Ginza 8 and would definitely stay here again. We are a family of three and stayed 4 nights before our cruise and another 4 nights after, so we had plenty of time to experience the hotel and found it consistently excellent. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Ginza with outstanding shopping, restaurants, department stores, and several transit options within about a 5-minute walk. It made getting around Tokyo very easy. We stayed in a large room with three beds, which was comfortable, very clean, and well equipped. Amenities included coffee, tea, an electric kettle, one complimentary bottle of water per person per night, a room safe, slippers, pajamas, and free toiletries for items you may have forgotten. The air conditioning worked extremely well and kept the room nice and cold. The shower was excellent, and we especially appreciated having the shower/bathroom and toilet in separate rooms, which was very convenient for a family of three. The hotel also has washers and dryers, an ice machine in the common kitchen area, and complimentary welcome drinks. The entire property was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were always professional, friendly, and helpful. Overall, this was an excellent hotel for both our pre- and post-cruise stays. Great location, comfortable rooms, thoughtful amenities, and excellent service. We would gladly stay here again."

"Clean, efficient, small room comes with bath tub. Self service laundry machines were really helpful during the hot summer travel. I liked the breakfast very much, they provided Japanese, Western (including Italian food), variety of roasted vegetables which I deserve when I am traveling. The location is excellent, not far from Shinbashi station, easy access from both Haneda airport and Narita Airport."

"Clean efficient tiny room size only with shower stall, not a bath tub. Staff polite and friendly. The hotel entrance is hard to find on a side street at first, but location is excellent, not far from Shinbashi and Ginza stations, and a a minute walk away from a supermarket and Don Quijote store. Breakfast room provided western, Japanese, Vietnamese food was very nice. I only wish they had provided coin operated self service laundry machines."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. A/C worked a treat. Rooms were small but this is very typical of Tokyo so not an issue. My only gripe was the bed. The mattress was so hard I actually ended up with bruises."
