"On arrival thw managed didn't expect us, there wasn't a room ready and they were moving a wardrobe etc into our allocated room. I had to ask for towels, a kettle, a sheet to put over us on the bed. Electric sockets were dangerous, the balcony was filthy and the chairs disgusting. Day 2 of being there, no power and I gave the manager money to top up the electric. After one week there was no water. This place is disgusting and needs closing down "

"This is a true gem. The owners were wonderful. They called to check on me and even surprised me with dinner a couple nights (which was amazing). The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked well. I will surely stay there again. The WiFi signal was the best I have ever experienced in The Gambia. I highly recommend it. They told me they are opening a restaurant in December which will be great. "

I greatly appreciated their promptness and commitment to guest satisfaction. Throughout my stay, the staff was consistently friendly, professional, and helpful. They were always willing to assist with any questions or requests, which made my experience even more enjoyable. The complimentary daily breakfast was a nice addition, and the views from the hotel were absolutely spectacular. The beautiful surroundings created a relaxing atmosphere and added to the overall experience. Overall, I had a very positive stay at the Tropic Garden Hotel and would recommend it to travelers looking for friendly service, beautiful views, and a welcoming environment."
