I have been to many different unique rentals, but this one has been one of the best stays I've ever had. First off, the location and setting of Kamaroo farms is fairytale like and beautiful. The rolling hills, forests, and seclusion was what we were hoping to find. The pictures of the location does not give it justice, much more beautiful in person. I had chosen to stay here to take my animal loving girlfriend for her birthday. The moment we arrived was surreal, all the animals are doing amazing, happy, and healthy. It was like a movie, they all were so friendly and very well taken care off. Tammy and Mike were the most amazing hosts, so welcoming, thoughtful, and helpful. Tammy gave a short lesson on how to use the 4x4 utility vehicle and how to navigate up to the cabin. The cabin sits elevated looking down on the whole farm. A beautiful view to enjoy on the covered porch, which we did lots of, you can see all the animals from up there too. Tammy had given us such an amazing tour of all their animals and we were able to feed and pet many of them. The animals are all so amazingly cared for and it shows by how happy they all were. I was also blown away by how amazingly nice all the living quarters were for all the animals, and especially how clean. It was just a perfect weekend, we were hoping to disconnect, get one with nature, and see some beautiful animals, and Kamaroo knocked it out of the park. Highly, highly recommend staying at this incredible place.
