"The host was genuinely caring and quite personable. She herself detected that something was suffering from the summer heat, dust, and critters and immediately ensured someone promptly showed up to thoroughly clean. It was a grand and spacious old house that they are working hard to fully restore to its prior family-warm grandeur. It was neat to literally walk back through differing eras. If you love touching and tactilely experiencing history, this is definitely the place to experience it all the way back to the early 1900s."

"A must stop for any history lover. Beautiful building! AC was sufficient, parking was easy even though the hotel is on a main road. Our room was in the middle of the building so we didn’t hear much road noise. And yes it’s on a main road, but this is a small town so the traffic isn’t anything major. Plus the rooms in the front get lovely views of the old historic courthouse just steps away. Would definitely stay again."

"We stayed here at the end of June for a family get together and it easily accommodated our large group. The house was very clean with so many amenities and things to do. The pool and surrounding area was great and the owners provided many pool activities. Also, they are great hosts and checked in periodically to make sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend 10/10!!!"

"The property is adorable! Very nice, every thing was new and comfortable. The bed was so soft and snuggly. The air conditioner worked well. The hot tub pavilion area was our favorite with string lights and rocking chairs. Such a relaxing way to connect. To note- the hot tub area is shared between two properties. Was not an issue at all, but I didn’t realize it when I booked. There is absolutely no service as well (we enjoyed that aspect, but again something to note!). We will definitely be back!"
