My husband and I travelled to Rhodes for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and stayed in the Elysium Resort and Spa for 7 nights. Our time there was highly enjoyable, surely one of the best hotel stays that I have ever had! I tried the spa one afternoon (fabulous!) and we both took advantage of the closeness of our room to the hotel swimming pools and the main beach area. I have only praise to give this hotel and give huge credit to the staff who were extremely pleasant and helpful to us in all aspects. The food served at the main hotel restaurant was nothing short of superb with a wide range of choices for both starters and desserts at dinner and a large selection of both hot and cold dishes for the breakfasts. I would recommend the Elysium Resort and Spa on Rhodes for those looking for a truly luxurious and enjoyable stay on the island.
We had one of the newer bungalows - lovely room, exactly as described, close to pool. The newer area of the hotel is good but some of the older areas area little tatty - but the facilities are good overall. Staff very helpful and friendly. Decent food, clean room, comfy bed and close to beach. Only downside was very, very intermittent wifi - spent more time disconnected that connected! Really frustrating - one second you're on line, then it just disappears, then re- appears five minutes later. Better in main lobby of hotel so could have been something to do with location of room.
Loved our stay. Hotel provides a unique view over rhodes city. Clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast was tasty, loved variety and local delicacies. Dont miss greek night on monday, very good fun, and unlike usual low buffet expectations, very tasty variety and great salads.
Visit Kallithea springs just 2m away, blue flag beach, great place for evening coctail.
Was a very fair trade, Not having to pay for some irrelevant extras and enjoying the true sense of luxury holiday.
Location was great, close to airport and to the old/new town. Nice people. We feel very safe. Food was alright. The only down side is the internet. You can only use the wifi in the reception. But overall our stay was very nice. Definitely recommending this hotel. Great for family.

Just 7 kilometers from Rhodes City, Kallithea is a bustling resort village on the eastern coast of the island. The village is well worth a visit for its decorative Roman baths, and the long, sandy Faliráki Beach offers ample opportunity for basking in the sun. Deep swimming coves framed by pine trees provide ideal spots for diving from the rocky cliffs above.
