Great room with spectacular view. Very kind and helpful staff who even added extra items to dinner menu to accommodate our vegan dinner guests

Lovely set-up here, helpful staff, spacious room. Dinner in the hotel was very good, again with great service and not over-priced at all. Enjoyable stay after a long day.

Lovely room in fantastic old house, hot tub is an excellent bonus

Hotel room was beyond my expectations - what an incredible view from the bedroom window as well! Jetted tub and rainfall shower were highlights. I could imagine this as a cosy get away in the winter where the fire place would add to the ambience (definitely not needed for my summer stay). Breakfast was superb, staff was friendly and Kaeden was welcoming for both the check in and check out. I was able to relax at the pool until time to depart for a late afternoon ferry. Gorgeous herotage building with character. Plenty of amenities and exceptional breakfast, with homemade cookies and buns available during the day. We had a lively, romantic stay and will definitely be back.

Host and hostess very welcomimg. Afternoon tea when we arrived. Informative about the area. Room immaculate. Very well set up for disabled access. Enormous home cooked breakfast with quality ingredients. We chatted with another couple for over an hour over breakfast before leaving.

Fabulous boutique hotel, circa 5 min walk to the waterfront. Beds are so so comfy and the freshly cooked breakfasts will keep you going all day long. The staff can't do enough for you and if we return to Victoria we would definitely choose this hotel!! A hidden gem

beautiful room and lovely place

The property was completely refurbished and reopened in April 2026. A very high standard specification, with warm coastal decor in guest rooms and public spaces. Would recommend.

Everything was great just 2 things, the bottom of the bed frame was a good 6” passed the mattress & a shin bruiser. A small table outside to put your coffee/breakfast on would be good. But the bed was comfy the parking good & a nice pub for food only a short walk away

Great overnight stay. It was a last minute booking and a fantastic surprise. Super simple check in and out and really friendly communication throughout. Place was cosy and well appointed and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thanks!

Excellent. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful location and building to stay in. Everything was great and the breakfast excellent, as we're the staff. Thank you.

It's a basic hotel chain, but it very clean very helpful staff, quiet room no kettle for tea though, but microwave and fridge & good sized room

I loved the balcony with the comfy chairs overlooking the river. It's the perfect sun trap
