Great place to relax after a week only trip. We arrived from in Prague with a connection the next day after a week of shuffling around Europe. We got in at 2200 and were tired. Room was large and comfortable with a nice view of the river. Hotel staff helpful and courteous. About 7 mins walk to Old Sq.
Extremely accommodating and friendly, located just of the famous Charles Bridge & walking distance to everything including Prague Castle & Old Town. Very hospitable staff & good restaurant and bar. Very good value for a 5 star hotel.
My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this exceptional hotel. As it was our wedding anniversary the hotel supplied a gift platter and fizzy wine which was perfect after our flight. Breakfasts were wonderful and the cakes and coffee in the afternoon was ingenious, as was the cheese and wine. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and went the extra mile regularly. The hotel was immaculately clean and the location was ideal in a vibrant area which was not at all noisy and very central. I have been recommending this hotel to everyone I know and would love to return again.
The hotel apartments are a separate building from the Intercontinental Prague hotel (which we finally found, after walking about a bit!) the building is just to the right (and on other side of road) of the intercontinental hotel entrance. Although you need to check in at the man hotel. The apartments were lovely and big and very clean. The rooms were made up each day which I wasn't expecting! You have full access to the spa facilities at intercontinental hotel which we went to one afternoon. The hotel is in great location, just a 5 minute walk down one main road to the main old town square. would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone visiting Prague
Prague’s Jewish quarter witnessed oppression and suffering for centuries before the Nazis invaded during the Second World War. The tightly packed, insanitary buildings of the ghetto were mostly destroyed in the 1890s, but the Old Jewish Cemetery and several atmospheric synagogues survived. Best is the Old-New Synagogue, dating from around 1270.
