The best area to stay in Jokano is the Old Town, known locally as Alde Zaharra, for its historic charm and central location.

Alde Zaharra is the heart of Jokano, characterised by its narrow, winding cobblestone streets and centuries-old buildings. Couples often find Alde Zaharra particularly appealing. The romantic setting, with its intimate restaurants and wine bars, is great for evening strolls. Its central position means you're never far from the main attractions, allowing for a relaxed pace of exploration.

For those seeking a more contemporary experience with easy access to the waterfront, the Ensanche district is an excellent choice. This area, just west of Alde Zaharra, features wider boulevards and more modern architecture, leading directly to the promenade along the River Jokano.

Ensanche is ideal for travellers who appreciate modern amenities and convenient access to transport links.
