The hotel is walking distance from a few restaurants and is close to the Damascus Gate. The location was a convenient start to our daily touring. It could use a little updating. It was clean but old looking the bed was hard and it was hot in the room. Breakfast which is free is a huge selection, food was ok. I dont think its in a easy location to get around Jerusalem without having to drive your car which is not safe to do. Unfortunately, the staff at the front desk are in dire need of customer service training as i experienced some unprofessional and discourteous conduct. The location is in East Jerusalem and I don't think that it is convenient for walking to Ben Yehuda Street/Machane Yehuda or the old city.
