Pool closed for maintenance. When traveling with kids, the pool is almost the major deciding factor when picking a hotel. This should be communicated when booking.

Room was dirty and run down. Found an empty cigarette pack on the floor, hair in the shower. Just overall dirty. Beds were uncomfortable and loud

Retro but nice
Retro hotel with a cool bar and great staff. fyi, they do not accept payment online so you will have to pay when you get there.

Very clean and perfect for our stay with our dog. Only problem was the little coffee machine did not work. I tried to alert the front desk to replace it but no one picked up the phone.

Everything was good except people need to be aware this hotel does allow dogs in the rooms. Consider yourself warned

Very nice hotel
We were pleasantly surprised by this property which was a bit off the interstate highway. It was very well maintained, the pool area was decorated nicely & the staff were very friendly. The Safari Suite was thoughtfully decorated. We will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Duel in the Dirt weekend
The room was very clean and quiet. Beautiful place and room. The bathroom was a bit outdated and my heat bulb didn't work in the morning when I got up to shower. Very quiet and the staff were very welcoming.

The overall experience was fine! A wedding reception was held on Saturday and the loudness was overwhelming! My suggestion is to book the wedding guest altogether on the same floor and those that are not part of the wedding be on a different floor! Other than the wedding guests being loud I enjoyed my stay!!

The property was very out dated, the water from the shower and the sink was brown. The shower itself was cramped. The pillows were probably the highlight, they were the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever slept on!

Property is a little dated but was a good value. I was able to check in early and stayed in the themed Dakota Outdoors room which was nicely decorated. The hotel is in historic downtown Jamestown and close to several bars and restaurants.

Please plan better when there are events in town
Everything is slow. There was a state wrestling tournament at the event center, which is walking distance from the Gladstone. They were under staffed in both the bar and restaurant. My sons pancakes took over 45 minutes and he didn’t get to eat before his events started. The beds could also use an update, very uncomfortable.

Decent Stay
It is a good hotel to stay at, I wouldn't mind staying there again. The beds however were obnoxiously squeaky, and uncomfortable. It was obvious that the beds in the room next to ours were against the same wall as our beds, which does not make sense to me in a hotel. It was very annoying listening to our neighbors, it sounded like they were in the room with us. One other thing I found irritating was the pool filling up with screaming children when it opened in the morning. I understand children wanting to swim early but they were all screaming as loud as they could before 8 AM which I thought was rude of the parents to not say anything to them since it was so early.
