"Going Back in Time"
If you like big old houses that have seen bygone times then this is the place for you. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are large and spacious without central heating and double glazing but our hosts lit lovely log fires to keep us warm, a very different experience to your normal B & B.

"Friendly and comfortable hotel close to seafront "
The hotel has been in process of upgrading and this shows. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and exactly as described on website. Highlight for me was friendliness of staff, and access to lovely pool. Breakfast was good. Other highlight was Oasis spa- wonderful - very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend. For me what made my trip was the wonderful and helpful staff

"The views alone are worth the money!"
We booked one of the top floor rooms along with a sea facing balcony and the view alone was worth the money! The balcony had a couple of chairs and a small table and you could sit for hours watching the sea and the beach. The seafront was a 5 minute walk away, (quite a steep hill), with some great places to eat and the town was 5 minutes walk away as well. The room itself was comfortable & clean with a comfortable bed, lovely shower and to be able to wake up in the morning to the sound of waves was great! Breakfast was lovely and contrary to some other reviews on here, the staff were all excellent & very friendly. The building is old, so unsurprisingly there is some flaky paint and rough walls. If you want boring modern, go to a premier inn: this is a gorgeous old building with all that goes with it. Ignore some of the negative reviews on here: if you are expecting dull faceless modern hotel rooms, this isn't the place for you, but for some character, this was great.

"Don't miss it!"
Having stopped there before we knew the accommodation and the proprietorself well. Tanga and Pete are outstanding hosts, nothing is too much rouble and their attention to detail is second to none. The breakfasts are outstanding as is the accommodation. We stopped in the loft which is plush and has a luxurious black and white theme. Overall, as good as you're going to find anywhere on the island it's a credit to the owners.

Pocket Guide: Wedding Hotels in Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight offers a unique retreat, away from the mainland. Visitors flock to the island year after year to sample its world-class beaches, picturesque countryside and plethora of exciting attractions. The combination of natural beauty and a laid-back atmosphere makes the island a popular site for weddings and events. Accordingly, the Isle of Wight is home to plenty of fine wedding hotels.

Isle of Wight Hotels Make the Perfect Setting for a Wedding

The Isle of Wight is about as good as it gets when it comes to finding a memorable setting for your wedding. The island is littered with dramatic landscapes and panoramic ocean views, making the ideal backdrop to wedding photos to be enjoyed for generations to come.

One wedding venue that makes the most of its stunning views is Lisle Combe Bed and Breakfast. Located in St. Lawrence, just outside the Victorian town of Ventnor, Lisle Combe looks out to the south over the English Channel. From the grand hall to the traditional breakfast room, the hotel is well equipped to cater for large parties of all kinds.

    Exquisite Food

Food typically plays a central role on the day of your wedding. The Wellington Hotel puts food high on the agenda, coupling exquisite local dishes with fine wines and first-class service. To complete the package, the pretty hotel looks out over the bay of Ventnor, providing breath-taking sea views.

Wedding Hotels with Space to Relax

Of course, keeping your guests at your wedding is about more than just the big day. Particularly when the wedding's located somewhere as special as the Isle of Wight, it's not unusual for guests to stay for a few days either side of the big event. In this case, there's good reason to look for a hotel that is packed with facilities.

In addition to providing a gorgeous setting for your wedding day, Langham Court in Shanklin offers plenty for guests to do. From relaxing in the indoor pool and sauna to socialising around the pool table, there's plenty to keep guests out of trouble! The popular town of Shanklin also houses an array of places to eat, drink and shop.
