Nice place, need to review policies.

Great hotel and location, wait staff is slow in restaurants, amenities (fishing poles, bikes, etc.) have to be returned by 6 pm, so not very accessible for late day use. Overall I was well taken care of.

Overrated, overpriced

Posted 05-Aug-2017
Low quality food, service, facilities and rooms. Not clean, smells of mildew. Graveyard and noisy children outside of room. AC didn't work. Very over priced for not even including un-motorized water sports. Save your self the disappoint and don't book here. No value for your money...

Beautiful resort with everything you need

Posted 08-Jul-2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: There should be fans on the lanai
Location: Google Florida keys. Loved that we could walk over to the Lora Lai, and that the resort provides a shuttle within a 2 mile radius
From kayaks and fishing to yoga and massages the list goes on. We enjoyed the "Adult pool" as we were not there with grandkids. Beautiful and serene, the grounds are immaculate, the food was delicious (even room service). The staff is amazing and always smiling. Be prepared to spend.... it's not cheap however you get what you pay for!

Lovely upscale property right on the beach!

Posted 07-Jul-2017
We only booked a one-night stay at Cheeca Lodge & Spa as a way to break up the drive from Key West to Ft. Lauderdale airport. Upon arriving at the hotel, we immediately wished we could stay longer. The grounds are full of gorgeous lush vegetation. Our room was beautiful with a balcony overlooking a lovely garden with a banyan tree that was at least 50+ years old. It IS true that the beach is not like the beaches you'll see in the Caribbean, but NO beach in the Keys is. We spent five days in Key West and this property (and Islamorada in general) make Key West pale in comparison. We will definitely be back for a longer stay! Also, this property includes paddle boards and kayaks in the resort fee which is a big cost savings. There are two lovely pools, one of which is adults-only. There is also a fun "hidden" jacuzzi tucked away on the property in a little nook surrounded by pretty plants and rocks. My husband and I have stayed in many hotels over the years - some top notch and some budget-friendly. I can honestly say that this property is one of the nicest we've visited.

Nice hotel with lots to do.

Posted 28-Jun-2017
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere, great food
Cons: Needs a larger pool or a new secondary pool.
Location: Robbie's Marina, Theater of the Sea, good shopping and restaurants nearby, snorkeling trips and great fishing
Very good experience. Good food at all the places on site where we ate. Convenient to lots of other cool places in Islamorada. Biggest issue was the family pool is too small for the number of guests at the resort. Since there is really no beach a lot of people go to the pool and you will be lucky to get a chair, and when you do it is basically touching the chair next to you. Rooms were nice as were the rest of the facility. We would go back to this resort on our next trip to the FL Keys.

The accommodations at Cheeca Lodge

Posted 02-Jun-2017
Pros: It's location, everything was clean and easy access to where ever you needed to go
Cons: The golf course
Location: This vacation was focused on fishing and this resort was close to all of the marina's.
The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and always available to assist our needs.
