Spend the day at the Soggy Peso Palapa Bar, and spend the night in The Penthouse

  • Discover the ultimate Caribbean oasis at The Soggy Peso Bed & Cocktail, located on the stunning Isla Mujeres in Mexico! Our sunsets are truly breathtaking, and can be enjoyed from the Penthouse.

    This beautiful suite on the top floor of our villa, is a lovely space complete with a fully furnished kitchen and dining room. The king size bed has high end all-cotton sheets and fluffy pillows. The XL bathroom has double sinks, an XL walk-in shower, and a separate WC. Towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. The balcony is the full width of the villa, so there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy and enjoy the view.

    In keeping with our Bed & Cocktail theme ( when the bar is open), each room guest will be entitled daily to a free Bloody Mary in the morning and a free Margarita in the afternoon!
    If you are traveling with friends, we have another unit to rent. You can view the Bay View Apartment on VRBO# 3539517!

Move Over Bed and Breakfast!

I'll start by saying that I like quirky, but not at the expense of comfortable and this place lacked neither and was perfect for us! Loved our twice daily complimentary cocktails and the sunsets were stunning. The Soggy Peso is closed by 8 PM so no late hour noise, if that is a concern. Only note... *I would not recommend if you have trouble with stairs as the walk up is 34 glorious steps!
