The entrance to Ropeway street with numerous shops and restaurants and the Ropeway to Matsuyama Castle is right across the street. In addition, there are excellent restaurants in the side streets adjacent to the hotel. The public bath with an outdoor area is a great addition. The only negative is lack of on site parking. If you're traveling on Shikoku, a car is almost a necessity unless you are only visiting Matsuyama. One note, the garage is only 800 yen per day but they only take cash so be prepared. Over
