"Had a nice apartment perfectly located near the beach and restaurants. Staff were great and very friendly. Pool was very cold though but you have the beach nearby. Parking is charged at €20 a night for small cars so that's something to take into account however everywhere charges for parking in Amalfi."

"The Hotel Montemare was a lovely property on the hills above downtown Positano. The staff could not have been more lovely. They greeted us every morning and evening when we entered and left the property. We especially enjoyed (and will miss) the expansive continental breakfast offerings and coffees and attentive service every morning on the beautiful veranda with gorgeous sea views. Note that the foam beds were very firm which I did not find ideal for restful sleep."
