"We book a few days at the Royal on the Park every year to shake off any jet lag from our flight out from the UK. This year we also booked a night before taking a Uber to the cruise terminal. The staff at the Royal are always very helpful and we've nevr had need to raise issues regarding room clenliness. We always book a room with a view of the botanic gardens. "

"Very basic and probably better suited to sports teams and school groups which seemed to make up the majority of other travellers. Loud music played from the pub downstairs but did stop promptly at 10.30pm each night. A bit of a walk to the CBD for my office, and food options were mostly fast food. Fit out is a bit dated and tired. Will likely try somewhere else next time. "

"The hotel is right in the heart of Queen Street Mall, and everything you need is just a few minutes’ walk away — very convenient!You can park your car at the Uptown shopping complex or use the hotel’s valet parking. The staff are friendly and will park your car for you. Best of all, if you park at Uptown, the hotel offers a discount on the parking ticket.I loved the comfy bed, and having breakfast by the window at Lennard’s restaurant while looking out onto the street was a great way to start the day.I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency and will definitely be back! "Staff were amazing right from the Valet parking to having my luggage taken to the room. Then loading my luggage into the car when it was time to go. The bed was beautiful to sleep in , breakfasts were lovey and staff are very attentive. "
