Great beds. Served our purpose of wanting 3 double rooms. It was clean and staff polite and friendly. Downs, it smells weird and not go weird. We faced Tay street it’s noisy as hell. Very little sleep. Broken taped window. Just fix it! Multiple other small slightly annoying issues. We looked on the bright side of great location and great beds and great size bedrooms. Doubt we will be returning

Advertised that had airconditioning in room, totally false, had a free standing unit that didn't distribute cool air, absolute junk.
We weren't told until we arrived that if we wanted to park in the hotel car park it would cost another $10.00 per night, and absolute rip off!.
The access from the car park into the hotel is a maze of doors and requires you to travel through the service area of the hotel.
The room windows were cracked and thr frames were rusty, windows had wire mesh imbeded in them, similar to a jail cell.
We wouldn't stay in this hotel again.
The staff were helpful and polite. The location is near to a number of pubs and cafes and a mall with a movie theater. It's very accessible, right on the main street but not noisy. And if you're going to Bluff to catch the ferry to Stewart Island it's only 28km!
They are renovating, but rooms should be checked before use. Missing towels, bins on tables, toilet bush on toilet, towel in sink, hair in sink and on towel. Add that to no parking and I was not impressed. The shared kitchen is a bit of a joke - spoit for choice - 3 hobs with 4 switches to turn them on, 2 ovens with 4 switches. Which of the 12 hot plates will you use with the 2 burnt saucepans provided? Which oven will you put the 1 oven tray in?
The window was broken with tape over it. The other windows did not shut. I had to use cardboard to shut them.the room was very smelly. Do not stay there

Shower fixture was broken but made to look like it wasn’t so broke again as soon as you touched it, otherwise well equipped rooms in a good location for Invercargill central, staff were lovely and room was really clean
It was much better than I expected except the room was missing a curtain which made it very hard to sleep. Would have given it 5/5 but theres not much use in a hotel if you cant sleep there. 3/5

Didnt expect a student flat to amsquerafe as a hotel. Shouldnt book people into street facing non double glazed rooms on friday nights qoth noisy hoons cruising the streets to midnight in loud cars.

After booking we read some terrible reviews so we were very impressed when we got there. Alright, it’s not a 5 star hotel, but it was clean, had a kitchenette and good bedding

The front reception lady, was so rude, not helpful, didn’t even bother to get off her chair. The room 2 bedroom apartment, was run down, dirty chairs, drapes falling down, not even a toaster in the room. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The worst place we have ever stayed.

The parking spot for a SUV is way too small. This hotel doesn't provide tissue box or tissue paper so we have to use toilet paper as tissue.

The cleaning girls are amazing and friendly how ever the person (kate)on reception was not helpfull at all just wanted our money never saw her smile once put my sister and her partner in the smallest room in the hotel so i swapped with them they are in their 70 s fan in bathroom was not working asked for a mattress topper there was none over all very disappointed will not go back certainly would not recommend

I wasnt a fan of the Tv in the lounge area and not in the bedroom. Had no remote for the tv so had to ring down for one...twice! First remote was a different brand and not compatible with the tv in our room. The shower was tiny and the shower head etc fell apart when trying to adjust it..we were able to fix it up but most likely do it again as the screws were into nothing. Parking for one night not offered so told to park on street..possibility of getting a parking ticket. Plus though was the bed was so comfortable best yet!

We were disappointed with this property. The reception staff werent very friendly, very limited kitchen stuff, half a roll of toilet paper. Seems its more set up for those that live on site permanently or more for students than travellers. Out of the 6 different properties we have stayed in this trip this was the worst.

Great customer service. Well accommodated even though our booking hadn't got through to them and we had confirmation. Thank you for being so amazing.
Definitely will stay again.
The hotel was clean on the first night until someone drinking threw up in the lift and on the floor on the first level. This remaind until checkout on Sunday. Noisy drunks came in both nights but as there is nobody on duty, there was a lot of noise in the early hours.
