The best area to stay in Inoso is the town centre, particularly around the Plaza Mayor and the streets immediately surrounding it.

This area is the heart of Inoso, where you'll find the majority of the town's historic buildings, local shops, and traditional Basque eateries. The Plaza Mayor itself is a beautiful, arcaded square, superb for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink. Many of the streets here are pedestrian-friendly, making it easy to stroll and explore.

Couples looking for a romantic and convenient stay will find the town centre ideal. You'll be within easy walking distance of the Inoso Museum, the historic Church of San Juan, and numerous independent boutiques. The evenings offer a relaxed pace, with plenty of opportunities for a delightful dinner at a local restaurant.

For those travelling with family, staying slightly outside the immediate bustling centre, perhaps a few streets back from the Plaza Mayor, can offer a quieter experience while still being incredibly convenient.

The best time to visit Inoso is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months when the weather is mild and the natural beauty of the Basque Country is at its peak.

During these periods, you'll experience pleasant temperatures, ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside and coastline without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. Spring brings lush greenery and blossoming wildflowers, making it superb for hiking and outdoor activities. Autumn offers a stunning display of changing leaves and a comfortable climate for enjoying local festivals and culinary delights.

For those looking to enjoy the region's cultural events and gastronomic scene, these shoulder seasons also tend to be less crowded than the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed and authentic experience.
